if you've played the other ones this continues the great gameplay and is very fun with friends

My son wanted this game for Christmas. I bought it for him. Of course he beats me. I think its ok if he has more people to play with.

This is a great game, and is most fun when played with friends on your couch. There is a lot of depth with the normal smash mode, online play, as well as single player challenge events etc. Definitely a must have for anyone that owns a Wii U.

I bought this game because of the amiibos side of the game. They add a new twist to this franchise.

My family and I had a rough time getting started on this game but once we figured out the controls, we couldn't stop! The character selection is amazing and actually brought back a lot of memories from my Nintendo playing era as a child. :-)

This is a fun game. You can either make it challenging or not so challenging. kids have a fun time fighting with different characters.

This game is pretty loaded with content and is a lot of fun to play with friends via online play. Though the lack of Wii U adapters on the market leave something to be desired (its really best played on the classic gamecube controller).

but I don't. Unless I'm missing something, the game is only about fighting. If you prefer games with a purpose, I'd look elsewhere.

Very action oriented. My kids love the characters and continually play this game which is the high water mark for any video game. If they are still playing it after 2 months, then you know you got your money's worth.

Had fun playing something with my kids that I played as a kid. Wii controllers playing it make it a little difficult. Game does not disappoint though and there are so many characters to play and unlock.
