I am not a fan of fighting games. With that being said I do love this game. Its fun fighting with familiar Nintendo chars. Do yourself a favor and get the Gamecube adapter and play with GC controller I find it much more enjoyable that way. Maybe that is because I played it on Gamecube originally. Give it a shot its a great game.

This game is fun to play with buddies. You can have up to 8 players playing at once. You can choose iconic nintendo, sega, and namco characters. Its nice to see pac man, sonic, and mario fighting a brawl.

Smash brothers for Wii U looks great in HD, but I recommended trying the game to ensure you like the gameplay. This is not your traditional fighter. 4 or 8 player modes get hectic and difficult to pay attention to as the the camera moves around and level terrain changes. Overall if you like smash this title is good, but if like me you prefer traditional 1 on 1 fighting without all the power ups or chaos then stick with Tekken or Injustice on the Wii U for fighters.
