This game is great for playing in groups with family or friends. It is easy to pick up and play with very little barrier for new players to enjoy. My only complaint is that this game is much more fun to play with GameCube controllers, and the GameCube adapter is difficult to find at the moment. I highly recommend getting the GameCube adapter when purchasing this game.

Purchased this game and got it priced matched with walmart. I was able to use $10 of rewards points to get it for $35! Its a steal at the regular price as well. This game has a lot hours of fun. Great multiplayer capabilities and they'll be adding downloadable content later as well.

Great, great Super Smash Bros game. use the gamepad, the wiimote, nunchuch or pro Controller, you are GOOD TO GO! The game runs smoothly, its in HD and the graphics are amazing. The carnage and chaos which ensures will beyond your largest dream. Get some buddies over, drink some kool-aid and game out man. This game frickin ruled, i havent sopped playing it in days.

I have played Super Smash Brothers since it was released on the N64 and each re-release gets better and better. The game has smooth playback and it never gets boring. The Wi-Fi feature to play against other players crashes 50% of the time, however, I'm not sure if that's because I have a weak Wi-Fi signal. Regardless, I love this game! Best Videogame for the Wii U!

Bought this game for my preteen nephew. He loves it! Allows for multiple participants, ease of learning is great and familiar characters to attract a wide demographic of people!

This game is a fast paced action game. It is one of our favorite combat video games that our family loves to play together on a Friday night. It features a lot of the all time favorite Nintendo Characters. The game is Rated "E" so everyone can play. It is definitely a must for family game night. I would recommend this product for children of ages, and adults too!

Like all the Smash games before, this one does not disappoint. The core gameplay of sending your favorite Nintendo characters flying across the screen is still intact and awesome. Though the Smash Tour mode attempts to bring a game board Mario Party atmosphere to the table, it falls short. Otherwise, this game is great and will keep your pulse excited for hours.

I believe the starting roster was too large to start the game. They should have done what they did in the past and start with a select few characters and then have the rest of the characters unlockable. The same thing applies to the game maps. I was really hoping for more characters to be unlockable but seeing that there was only about... 5 or 6 i think? I was left a little saddened. However, in regards to the game itself. Graphics are amazing! This game should be played using HDMI and HDTV, it's a must. The one thing I love about nintendo is that when they release games, they are practically bug-free (at least as far as I know).

I am a sucker for Smash Bros Melee for Gamecube, but this game is great, Tons of Nintendo content from the details in characters and stage to the music from the Nintendo World. If you get this game I highly recommend buying Gamecube controllers and the new Wii U Gamecube controller adapter. Hard accessory to find now, but should be more readily available soon.

Super smash bros for the wii u is a fantastic entry for in the series. It has a great feel in gameplay that is more of a fairly good balence between melee and brawl. It's a great party game especially if you have more that 4 friends that are willing to play its series first 8 player smash mode. It's all around a perfect game to buy if you have a wii u.

the best game to own, on the WII, this game just brings classic fun. Better then the other smash bros, nothing like a 4 player romp in the living room, or playing 8 player smash. A game that will keep you entertained for hours on hours, and the online play is great too, even though theres not much of a leader board, or match set up options. Great fun

I've played the older version of this game for the old Wii and it was a lot of fun. I watched my daughter play this one and I think it's kind of hard to follow all the action on the screen at times. This particular purchase was for my niece and she absolutely loves it! She's only 4 by the way, so I guess it's easy for little kids to play.

This game lives up to the expectations! I played the original super smash bros on the n64 and a lot of the gaming mechanics translated well. If it isn't broken, don't fix it! They've added a lot of great characters and new elements and have still maintained the fun factor. great games for groups. love to play my friends and get together!

Easily the best game on the Wii U. Rivals Super Smash Bros Melee from the Game Cube. Well balanced, Custom character editor ensures the game stays fresh 1000+ matches in, and stage editor, though frustrating, is very open ended. The best part though, Nintendo is actually doing updates to ensure balance, and adding new characters to the game.

Fun game. Game play is very active but highly entertaining.
