Pound for pound, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U has been the most fun I've had playing video games in a long time, and a well-polished crown jewel in the Wii U's library. I've spent dozens of hours Smashing roomfuls of friends into oblivion, grinding through events and hunting down unlockables and, happily, I feel like I'm just getting started.

i bought this as a family gift for Christmas. My whole family really has enjoyed this game (much like the Wii version) and it is a great way to spend a few hours. The arenas are beautiful and challenging. And using Amiibos unlocks new looks for the corresponding character. We also enjoyed the new ultimate move they added for each character.

I remember being so excited for Brawl when it came out but something about it felt off. Smash Bros Wii U feels fantastic. It lived up to what I was hoping Brawl would be like and exceeded it. Stunning visuals, fluid gameplay, much more balanced than Brawl, and just an overall better experience. A must buy for any fan of Smash Bros series.

I was leary buying this game but my oldest son was excited. It was the first time in years that my oldest (17) wanted to play video games with my youngest (9). The whole family enjoyed the time together. Even took it to a weekend getaway with other kids and it really brought the older and younger kids together and bridged the gap. Love it.

I think this game is awesome! My daughter and I enjoy playing this game for hours. We like playing the many different characters that you have to choose from, and having the option to get more characters is great. I definitely would recommend people to give it a try, and it doesn't matter the persons age. All ages can enjoy it!

If you're playing with some friends online, or playing locally, this game is good fun. There's plenty of characters to choose from, and most of the stages are pretty good. The online matchmaking features are really bad, though. The 'For Fun' mode forces you to play timed matches, which no one has ever wanted to play, and the 'For Glory' mode only lets you play on one flat stage, which leads to really boring gameplay. Only buy this if you know a friend who will play with you.

Smash brothers is one of the all time best multi player games, and this one is the best version so far. With up to 8 players at the same time, and a better character balance its a great party game. Just like the other games there are a few character and item issues, but they are not a big of a factor as they were in the previous games.

While this Smash is a great competitive game and has a nice pace and a slew of new, fun characters to try, I miss the single player and coop that Brawl had.

Ths game is awesome! My son loves playing this smash game where they fight. He loves to use his Amiibos, however, we are still searching for a Pikachu apparently a bit harder to find. The kids love being able to fight each other and play with their friends. Overall, they enjoy the game and love the graphics as they play!

If you played the old Smash Bros you will want to play this on the WiiU, the graphics are great, controls are fun, and everyone from my 9 year old to me at 43 enjoy it. My only complaint which has nothing to do with this directly is the Amiibo figures you can use with this game only play with you, you can not play as them.

This is one of the greatest multiplayer franchises of all time. This version features updated graphics and new characters. There is a lot to unlock and plenty of fun times with friends. From what I've heard the online gameplay has been expanded and improved. This is pretty much a must have game for your collection.

I played the other smash games and this one is just as good! I liked the gameplay even though it was quite a challenge to learn on the wiiU. The only downside is the menu. The beginning menu is confusing at first and quite different from the other games. I liked it after I figured it out but it was frustrating at first.
