This controller has been re-released for Smash Ultimate and features a the smash logo in its center. I like using this controller the best for Smash since the controller is larger, wired instead of wireless, and I'm more familiar with using it.

Just a regular Gamecube Controller but with a different matte feel and nice design

Great to finally be able to buy a GameCube controller new. I've replaced the rubber tabs and joysticks too many times on old work out controller. Seems like a little bit of lag on the switch but works great on original GC

If you have ultimate than you need this controller if you liked the old games

It was quite a rush opening a new gamecube controller for the first time in like 15 years. Other than that, it performs exactly how you expect the gamecube controller to, which is to say, great for smash.

It's exactly what it claims to be - a Gamecube controller. Just as high quality as any other first-party Gamecube controller, but with the smash logo and a longer cable.

Haven't encountered any issues yet and the controller has held up well. I like that it is a gamecube connection so I can use it on my Wii when playing old GC games.

This is the best way to play super smash brothers at all and if you are not try your best to get one of these amazing controllers to help you be the best of your friend group

This is the most authentic Nintendo GameCube controller that's on the market. Basically an identical version of the original and the best way to play Smash Bros in 2019. Highly recommended.

GameCube controller is a must for Smash. My only complaint is that you need an adapter. We live in an age where everything is USB. Should’ve been USB. If your gonna Buy, make sure to have adapter

I had to buy it since it went on sale. I do already have one that has lasted over four years. This product is long lasting. Did not want to miss the opportunity to purchase while it was on sale.

I prefer to play smash bros with the gamecube controller

I would agree these new controllers may not have quite the same quality as the original but unless they are seeing very heavy use I doubt you will see a huge difference in their use or their lifetime. That said...I am not a Smash pro so opinions certainly vary with this controller. Regardless the price is good!
