Kids have this game on the Wii U. They liked the action and the characters. When they saw it was out on the Switch, they had to have it!

Fun with a group. A little infuriating bc the co tells leave a lot to be desired. Button smasher.

Between the great single player mode and the regular smash mode, the Switch is the perfect platform for this game. Easy to pick up and play and each character has their nuances. The sound tracks being back great nostalgia of the old games. Highly recommended.

I'm loving this game. The adventure mode is kinda slow and too grindy but everything else is great fun. It's always a blast to unlock characters and play with friends for some couch battles or online sessions (although I wish online had more of an offering)

This truly has been the ultimate version of Smash Bros to release!! It brings all the playable characters from all your favorite Nintendo games, from classic to present hits. And hits is what you will need to make to get your opponents off the levels.... :D

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is a step back. First the positives: The soundtrack is amazing. it's nearly every one of gaming's greatest songs ever created on one game. The roster.... Richter and Simon Belmont. Joker from Persona 5. King K Rool. Banjo Kazooie. Cloud Strife Solid Snake Sonic the Hedgehog Holy... what's next? Johanna Dark? Doomslayer? The Master Chief? ...And Negatives Yes, it has over 80 characters (which most of them are clones like previous games or just Marth reskined) + DLCs And almost every stage, (which most of them are just battlefield reskined) But it just feels off. No home run contest (added via patch later) No stage builder (added via patch later) No target smash No all star (been replaced by multi man / character smash) And no real adventure mode. They added a mode called Sprits, which is just Event mode with stickers (from brawl) on a Mario party board with three cutscenes... Didn't Brawl have 40 minutes worth of story cutscenes with a bunch of original 2.5D levels to explore? It would have been amazing to see all these characters interacting in some kind of story. The gameplay (for me) isn't as fun as previous games. Feels more like a technical/competitive fighter like Street fighter or Mortal Kombat. And the online is terrible. Nothing but lag, rage quitters and try hards. Overall, it's a good addition to the switch's catalog of games and you may find LOTS of enjoyment out of this game. Having played every Smash and being a huge Nintendo fan, I'm sad to say, I did not enjoy this game.

Had been looking for this game during the holidays all over. Bought it at Best Buy for a great deal. I love the game and it’s a great collection to add.

Easy to play when you have only a little time but having played super Mario Odyssey it was a bit of the same so husband hasn’t been playing it much

Another great Mario game for the Nintendo Switch. Got this for my 12 year old son. He and his friends enjoy it and have had a lot of fun playing it.

Great game. Fun to play as it has a different feel to that of the Smash Bros that was played on the Wii. New Characters to use and learn the different mechanics on the Switch controls. Definitely worth it.

It’s a great game. Depending on how much of a gamer you are you might get more playtime out of it than me. Overall, enjoyed it!

Its fun but sooo many characters to unlock has me overwhelmed. I miss having an actual story but the gameplay is solid. Online needs stability help.

Everything about this truly makes it ultimate. Stages. Characters. Story mode. The only thing I wish could happen would be an update to make online better. Maybe allow 8 v 8 at some point. Or team battle with friends vs others. Overall very very solid game

Not a big change from the version smash bro for the Nintendo Wii U. Still is a fun game and my daughter loves playing with her friend online. I also recommend buying the yearly online membership so you can play it online with friends and do online battles.

I purchased this game for one of my grandsons for Christmas. He will not be able to use it until 12/25/2018 so I can't really give an honest review.

I waited a long time to finally get a good price for this game. Of course this game is good, lots of fun, and sometimes I used my Nintendo VR set for this game and can get another totally different gaming experience.

Enjoyed playing it even as a single player. Not just for multiplayer. Brought back a lot of memories and is huge, plenty of players to choose from.
