God bless you, Masahiro Sakurai. This game is a joy to play and I love how portable it is. Taking out the Switch to play Smash Bros. at the laundromat is a good way to kill the time.

If you're a big smash bro's fan buy it. If not you could find other titles that are better

Upgraded from wiiu. Graphics are better, "heavy" characters are definitely more playable, but smash tour is not in this one.

Does not play well with Switch controllers. Barely played it due to it not being fun.

Fun game for all ages. Easy to use on the Switch. Not too mature for the younger players.

First off, let me say that this is a truly great game that deserves more than five stars and will be remembered as a timeless classic like such works as the Mona Lisa, Tom Sawyer, Beethoven's 5th,and MacBeth. The only problem is the way the pre-order was handled. When I picked up the game, the deposit was refunded to a pre-paid Visa card that has since been depleted and discarded. (The card was for $25; the purchase was $85; I would have used either cash or my bank card; I don't remember which and they kept my pre-order receipt at pickup.) Second, three weeks later I'm still waiting for my $10 rewards; I haven't even gotten rewards points for the purchase. Third, according to the weekly ads there was supposed to be a commemorative coin with the pre-order; the clerk said this was only for online pre-orders, (I never saw any indication of that in the newspaper ads.) I did get a pin, however. Additionally, the clerk tried to say the Gamers Club Unlocked discount wouldn't be applied, but it was when I insisted on him entering it. I will never do another pre-order with Best Buy, and I'm close to forgetting about your store entirely despite the Unlocked discount.

Loved playing SSB on N64 growing up so I was very excited to pick it up for the Switch. Definitely similar, but with some updates that keeps the game fresh. Highly recommend

love the game but not the control style. Kids caught on quick and kept beating everyone. worth the smiles

This can be challenging or not, depending on your play style! Unlocking characters is not instant, and each new character you unlock just brings you back for more play time!

My kids like the game but they are so into Fortenite that they don’t play this as much

My son was super excited to get this game, but now he says it’s too hard. I’m sure he’s just on overload from Christmas.

I got it for my son for his birthday. He played it for like 2 days after that he didn’t really like it.

Its 2018, the price of admission is 59.99 plus tax. Fighting games should have no unlocks, ever. This isn't the 1990's

Kids only played this game maybe 15 times since Dec. 2019-Feb. 2019. They do not ever play now.
