But Ultimate is also the most enjoyable entry since Super Smash Bros. Melee devoured the free time of my social circle through most of college. Because I can fine-tune the options I want, and pick the characters and stages I love from the franchise’s whole history, I’m almost guaranteed to be able to craft a fun match with whomever I’m playing with. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s gameplay is so snappy and fluid, its characters so rewarding in their variety, that it feels destined to dominate living rooms once again.

One of the best games on the Nintendo switch. Favorite player is Link. Also have love for Kirby and Zelda. This game brings back so much nostalgia and makes me feel like a kid again at 23 years old. Its a game you could have fun by yourself and also play with your family or even kids or siblings. Definitely recommend this if you get a Nintendo switch! It id a must have.

This game/series is one of the all time greats out there. I've always loved the concept. Smashing someone, sending them flying, either way out there or face planting against the the TV screen 3d style. Never gets old. The growing stable of characters rivals any video game series out there no matter the genre. Needless to say I've been smashing all comers in this game since the original version hit Nintendo 64 with only 12 characters. THE HOME RUN BAT & MAKING IT GO "PPINGGG" ENOUGH SAID. DIBS ON YOSH all games SMASH UNIVERSE & MARIOKART UNIVERSE

I will start by saying this is an extremely over hyped game. It does not deserve the 10/10 that all generic review outlets give it. It is however extremely good and probably the best smash in a very long time as far as battle mechanics go. The diversity of characters to choose from and the multitude of stages to fight on always keeps the game interesting. If you own a Switch and this game is not in your library you shouldn’t be owning a switch to begin with. This game to me is a solid 9 out of 10 by no means perfect but it is just so F$&@&$king fun.

I've been enjoying the Smash series, along with my friends, for the last 20+ years and it has consistently gotten better with each entry. With SSMB Ultimate you'll never have to worry about your favorite fighter not being included because EVERY character from every game has been included. Furthermore, every stage has returned in different variations, and a TON of music tracks have also been included. When they say "ultimate" they mean it and if you have been or still are an avid fan of Smash Bros., then you owe it to yourself to pick this one up!

Super smash Bros ultimate is literally a compilation of every character and map that has ever existed in the series. This game is great for both competitive players and casual players. The process of unlocking all characters is very rewarding and the variety of modes offered increases the replayability of this game. Furthermore if you have Nintendo online your experience is expanded to your friends and local community switch owners. If there is only one game that you can get with the purchase of a switch this game would be the one to purchase.

The game has been released for years now and is also a freat gift to give to a love one. Many characters to choose and learn how to fight, you’ll never get bored. Playing with friends and family while keeping it kid friendly is what nintendo does best.

I've put over 50 hours in so far and I'm loving it! There are SOOOO many characters and stages. Lots of options, so you can play just how you like it. The World of Light single player campaign is much more engaging than anything we've seen in previous Smash titles. The spirits are fun to collect and are actually fundamental to the gameplay itself, unlike trophies and stickers in previous titles. Online is a little laggy, but that's expected at launch. Should get better over the coming weeks. Overally, a fantastic game worth $60 easily.

I loved smash bros growing up and now my kids do too. Fantastic game!!

One of the best fighting titles with all your favorite characters from all different companies. Every character has their own unique power combos and finish moves. Would recommend this ASAP to anyone who wants action pack fighting scenes.

A classic game with a new spin! I love all the characters they bring into it and the challenges they make with the levels.

One of the coolest games of all time, Super Smash Brothers never fails to entertain. From the huge roster of characters to the different game modes there’s fun for everyone!

Cannot believe they brought every character from the past and brought in so many more characters!!!! They upgraded everything and the 'Light' quest was amazing! I dont know where they will go from here but im ready for it!

This game is a blast, solo and multiplayer. The controllers being so small takes some getting used to but its an easy adjustment. I've also played with the retro attachment that lets you use game cube controllers which I really love because that way I don't have to buy additional controller and its a familiar way of playing. But aside from that, I haven't unlocked all the players yet but I'm surprised by how many characters there are so far and its nice to have all the playing fields unlocked from the start.
