I had not been super into Smash Bros. prior to this game's release, but that all changed when I played the game. All the Nintendo Directs and information leaking online about the game had scared me away from this, until I finally decided to give in and buy it. After playing my first match, I knew this had been the best fighting game that I had played since Mortal Kombat 9. Not comparable, but I'm not really a crazy fighting game fan. All and all, this game is awesome!

Great roster and lots of added content. This game is fit for all ages and a lot of replay value

This game is amazing! So many characters! Only thing is you have to unlock all of them + win the match to keep them.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is, admittedly, my first Smash game. With its long history, I felt a bit overwhelmed and daunted before I got the game. However, this "Ultimate" nomenclature is excellent for seasoned veterans as well as new players like myself. The game is fun and holds my interest. It is also a great game to play with friends. The Nintendo Switch is a fantastic console to support a game like this and I would recommend Smash for anyone that's remotely interested.

I bought this to play with friends when they would come other, as well as family members. Game is great although a bit chaotic for my tastes when beyond 4 players haha. Definitely a great multiplayer game whether in person or online

This game is so fun! It’s not quite as great as the GameCube smash was but it’s still super fun to play, and makes a great party game or game to play with some friends. I would definitely recommend it.

Bought this game as Christmas gift for my 7 and 9 year old grandsons. They sent me a picture of the them opening the game. Later they followed up with a call to let me know how great the game was. My son called two days after Christmas and said they had been playing this Super Smash Bro’s. Game exclusively even though they received other games for Christmas. They received the switch last year and are very proficient in playing it. Great gift!

Action packed! The updated graphics and characters are pretty cool. This game is addictive and fun for all ages.

It truly is the greatest game of all time in the series. I’ve played Smash since 64 and loved every installment since (except brawl). Not saying that Ultimate is perfect there are a few mechanical things Sakurai needs to fix like online, hit boxes, and techs/air dodging. That’ll hopefully will be fixed with patches. I just appreciate all the love and care Sakurai put into this game and series, and overall I am happy and extremely satisfied with the result. #ThankYouSakurai

Bought this for my son, he loves it! Has been playing non stop. So many characters to unlock, keeps the game fresh.

This game starts off with only a few characters but you can unlock everyone as you play. This is the best smash yet

New smash with tons of characters and maps to brawl. The single player campaign was good, most fun in multiplayer.

This game is super fun whether you're casual player or a competitive player. I love that this game has every single character from the previous games. I hate attempting to unlock all the characters whether you do the shortcut (it's on youtube) or just plain old fashion playing through the game. The world of light adventure mode is quite tedious in grinding through the fights to progress the story and unlock characters. Overall I think this is a must have game for all.

This game is worth every penny. The new characters are a ton of fun and some old characters who were lagging behind in recent games got great buffs. The presentation is better than ever, with the characters looking and sounding very expressive. Spirits are a nice distraction every now and then, but nothing too exciting. The game's campaign, World of Light, isn't all that good though. You gain fighters at an excruciatingly slow rate, forcing you to use the same character for like 15 battles before getting a new one. There's no story to speak of, and while the spirit battles CAN be very creative with interesting effects, most of the time they're just bog-standard with a buff here and debuff there. The difficulty is also oddly uneven, as there are battles that are straight-up unaffected by the difficulty setting, either being hilariously easy or Ninja Gaiden-level hard. Overall, 100% worth the purchase if you're looking for a fun fighting game with great characters and presentation. Just don't expect much from the campaign.
