After several days of play, I'm willing to say that this game captures the feel of older games in the series, and adds a significant single-player component as well. The game runs smoothly in either docked or portable mode. If you're a fan of Nintendo's characters, this is an excellent game to have a blast with either alone or with friends.

One of the best Smash Bros. games I've ever played.

Amazing graphics and super fun to play! Highly recommended

This Smash, like other Smashes before it, exists for the sole reason of letting you pummel your friends as your favorite Nintendo characters, and it delivers once agaib. There's also Single player options like Classic Mode and a full fledged Adventure called World of Light, and unlockable characters, stages, Mii outfits, and music tracks.

I'm usually hesitant on buying multiplayer games like SSB but I was told this one has a good single player mode. I can confirm that this is indeed the case and I'm having a blast with the single player. As for multiplayer I am not good enough to analyze the mechanics but from a casual couch play perspective it is a great party game.

Definitely one of the best games out there. Reminds me of my childhood with the old nintendo’s. I love it and specifically bought the Nintendo switch for this game! I’ve been playing this game everyday since I’ve bought it, my eight year old sister loves it and my twenty-three year old brother loves it. It’s a game for any age!

Finally, it's here. Game is very engaging and you really need a pro controller or gamecube controller to get the most out of this game. With the stock joycon controllers it's not as responsive. Games load very very fast and graphics are sharp. Can't wait to get friends together to play this. Meanwhile there's a lot of online co-op options.

Excellent game my daughters have a lot of fun and have fun

I eyed this for a long time, then it went on sale, and I finally pulled the trigger. NOT WORTH WAITING! it is so fun and my kids love it! I honestly regret not getting it at full price. Please do yourself a favor, buy if you want to play this game at whatever price because it is worth it.

Bought this game as a gift for my son with the expectation of playing a little with him seeing that I played a lot on the GameCube back "in the day", boy was I wrong! I find that I am playing it as much as I can (not a lot but more than I really expected). Great game with tons of reasons to keep playing (new fighters, items and so on).

This game is what every smash player has ever dreamed of. Every character that has ever been in a smash game is here plus tons of new characters and even more coming as DLC! This has 8 player multiplayer both local and online and also has a very extensive single player mode. If you even kind of like smash bros, you need to get this game!

Our kids are in their 20's, and play this with family & friends every holiday at our house--and have a blast. One of them also plays in Super Smash Bros competitions (mostly for fun), and they all play online. Also: Great fun to watch (even if you haven't a clue as to what's happening onscreen)!

A great game to play on your own or with a group of friends and family! My wife and kids have both come to love Super Smash Bros for some family friendly competition and entertainment.

The game lives up to it's subtitle, it really is the ultimate Smash Brothers game. Every past character returns, and it's just so much fun to play with friends. Highly recommend it!

Get ready for the best smash bros game ever. It comes with a lengthy single player mode with tons of challenge. Through normal multiplayer, classic mode or single player, you can unlock the 60+ fighters in the game, and it’s super fun of course. Tons of music, tons of stages and dlc announced for an extra 5 fighters throughout next year.
