My kids have long awaited this release. The have played Smash Bros for many years and this one didn't disappoint them at all. They seem to love the solo story mode as well as the competitive action. A worthy addition to your Switch library, and a good step forward for the Smash Bros. sequence of games.

This is one of the best games ever made. I have played the Adventure mode for several hours now and I am no where near close to finishing. There are also very challenging battles within the adventure mode. You can also unlock everyone by just battling with your friends. 10/10 would recommend to ANYONE!

Pros: * Tons of stages (normal, battlefield and omega) - all out-of-the-box * Tons of characters (8 colors each!) - unlock one-by-one * Many controller types supported Cons: * Challengers show up too frequently and without the ability to choose your character; very annoying right out of the box * Spirits are not as memorable as collecting trophies (inspiration for Amiibos) * Lots of questionable decisions with spirits modes (ex: the 7 hour mining spot) * No destroy the targets nor home run modes * Not that many items return from old games and many of the newer items are unfair one-hit-kills. Best to turn off items until you've practiced.

Super smash Bros, just like one of the most iconic titles in the world since game cube it's been the most epic game ever so good

Great game! Second time buying it. This time for my nephew and he loved it! Bought the Minecraft characters and he's having a blast. His parents are very religious but even they are OK with the content. ESRB did well assigning the rating the game has.

What is there to say. It's Smash Bros. The graphics are great and won't disappoint. There's a lot of characters, something like 75-ish. Plenty of fun to be had either solo or with friends. If you like 2D platform combat games, then this has got to be on your shelf.

Just like its predecessors, Smash Bros. has proved why it's a staple in the Nintendo Console lineup each year. With partnerships reaching as far as SquireEnix, they brought the heat with new Fighters. There are many game modes to keep it fresh, Spirits among the best.

I really like the story mode and the mechanics. This is a great addition to the Smash Brothers franchise, and the whole team that made it has my respect. The way they gate their online multiplayer is annoying but understandable, given the cost involved in producing and marketing an AAA title like this.

Kids got this for Christmas and love it! It does cause some rifts between my kids because they are so competitive, but it is a great game overall. The story mode is long, which is good, but there doesn't appear to be a create your own stage mode, which is sad. Still, great game and worth the purchase.

Want to be annihilated by your friend who has more free time than you? Then this is the game for you! Nah, but seriously, this is a great party game, we always have a blast. Make sure to have fun with it and go into the camera mode to see all the weird whacky situations you and your friends get into.

First Smash game I have played since the N64 version. This game sucked me in right away. I haven’t been much into playing games lately, but I easily logged around 80 hours in this game within a few short weeks. Despite devoting so many hours, there is still tons of content I have not even touched yet.

I am not a very compatible player, usually don't play online. A lot of detail for each character, and not bad single player mode. Best game for play with friends, if you don't have Friends to play with. This game will take around 30hours to collect all all characters, most likely you will stop there.

This game is incredible. It takes everything that’s awesome about the previous 4, incorporates and tweaks that, and adds some new for the most enjoyable smash I’ve played to date. The sheer amount of courses, characters and music ins astounding. Absolutely recommended for all fans of Smash and Nintendo

It's Super Smash, so of course it's going to be good. Does a good job of combining everything for casual and competitive gaming. Super fun to play with friends on the couch and the game modes are fun by yourself as well. Online play needs some improvement, but that is not the reason I bought this game.

My son loves this game. This is actually a replacement bc he was so upset he lost his original game.

Virtually endless characters and maps to play. Different modes to play in. Added "spirits" are neat, as a whole new game mode to unlock them is included. The only knock I have on the game is that it doesn't have a full, in depth tutorial

I have been playing the super smash bros. series since I was a kid. I loved the game then and now. All the characters are awesome and online is super fun. unfortunately you can't play as a team against your friends online, it's only one on one. I hope that'll change but overall tons of fun.

This is my son’s favorite new Switch game. All the familiar Nintendo characters. Ability to have up to eight players - looking forward to having the whole family playing all at once.

My 6 and 7 year old love it. They have not mastered the controls but play fine just button mashing. I love how many characters from nintendo's history are worked into the plot. The R.O.B controller as a playable character!?!? Who would have thought of that....

Kids got really excited when they got this game and really love to play this with multiple users. And great characters to choose from.
