definitely one of the best games of the year... this game is simple yet so complex.... so many characters to choose from and just a grand time playing with friends.. online mode is a little weird.. cant team up with a buddy and play randoms unless he's right next to you... (cmon nintendo its 2018)

My kid absolutely loves this game, no matter how much they complain about the "glitching" when they're not winning. Lol! It's sure to keep any kid engaged and on their toes.

Smash Ultimate. The fifth iteration. And packed with nearly every character and stage that came before. Over a week and half in and have yet to unlock a third of all the characters. You'll keep coming back for more in the adventure mode (sad there's not more story or cutscenes) and to smash it out locally. The online is a little to be desired. After having to pay to join Nintendo online now, it is STILL laggy and short of features. Hopefully they iron this out soon. I do miss some features that were cut out from the last smash (fare thee well custom moves for Megaman), but overall this a great game. And extra points for the portability!

What other game OFFICIALLY allows you to pit iconic characters from the long history of gaming, against each other for an all out brawl? Only Nintendo can make such a thing come to fruition in such a flawless way. A MUST HAVE for all owners of the Nintendo Switch!!!

I've never played smash bros and it took some getting used to, but now that I know how to play it better I really enjoy it. I've gotten through a lot of the spirit mode campaign, well 14 hours of the adventure part. Very cool stages, songs and characters.

This has been one of the most anticipated releases for the switch yet and has lived up to most if not all of its expectations. The only downside is the online features sometimes have issues but this is an ongoing process of Nintendo ever since they switched to the online being a premium service.

Smash Bros. has always been a fighting series that successfully pleases two crowds that are usually at odds: those who are seeking the pure, chaotic joy of an eight player button mashing brawl and those who prefer tense matches of hard-fought, high level skill.

I've played every entry in the Smash Bros series and this continues the quality and fun we've come to expect. Even my 5yr old is able to play (at the easier settings). My only issue is not specific to this game, but is included... I wish it didn't have DLC to unlock all the content.

Brawl and melee are my favorites due to nostalgia. Ultimate is my favorite due to being able to play as any of the characters in all of the games ever released. My downside to the game is that I prefer the subspace emissary story to the world of light.

I have not played smash bros since the GameCube. Regardless of what people tell you this game is not very deep. That said it can still take time to get good. I’m still a novice and have only been playing with child but it is fun. It takes a while to unlock everyone and still have a ways to go. I wish you could unlock characters faster. For a switch game it looks good, plays well. More so than ever a lot is going on at a time. Sometimes I forget who and where I am. That might be because I’m getting old. I would recommend it for any switch owner.

Played the demo at pax prime and now that I have the real game. Wow. Unlocking the roster is hard but they just made it easier with a recent patch. This game has a lot to offer compared to other fighting games. Online play right now is a little laggy at times. But overall this is the game to get.

Bought this when it was available for pre-order and chose pickup at store for convenience. The item was ready on date promised and I'm so glad I made the right choice. The only problem is it was going to be a Christmas present but it was found before Christmas so we've been playing it ever since.

Smash Bros. is a classic in all its iterations. The only complaint is that after you buy all the DLC you'll be spending closer to double this price, but there is enough content in the base game that you really don't need to.

This game is super fast-paced fun and it’s a game you can play with the whole family. I love playing each mode and unlocking new characters has been really satisfying so far. It’s one of the most entertaining games I’ve ever played and I’m extremely glad I bought it.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is hands down the game to get for any Switch owner or fan of the series, This game is an absolute fan service title that pay homage to all the games in the series by including every character from past titles. Highly recommended for hours of play solo or with friends.

A must own and a must buy for any Nintendo switch user. Your kids will love this game, it’s a very simple and yet a balanced game with over 70+ characters and 100+ stages you get the most bang for your buck here. Buy only if you or the person you want to buy this for has a Nintendo switch system.

This game is amazing, and I will never stop loving it. I have every version from the N64 days and will keep buying it until then! I even got my parents (who can barely work the DirecTV remote) to complain about button mashing...that's when you know you've succeeded!

I love it, is a good Christmas present. He play the game all the time. So I really recommend.
