Love the games ever since way back then!!! Had to get it without a doubt! It’s a love and hate with having to unclock the rest of the characters but it makes you put the playing time in order to gain access to them! Still waiting to fight after snake to get him!

The single best thing about this game is that it encourages you to gather some friends together and play in the same room. Playing with friends is way more satisfying than playing online. Couch co op is a dying bread, good thing Nintendo is keeping it alive.

Super Smash Bros is a game that hooks you and drags you in. You can competitively play the game, or just play it and relax. Super Smash Bros is also a great game to play with friends, whether they have their own switch or if you are using the same one.

I waited a long time to finally get a good price for this game. Of course this game is good, lots of fun, and sometimes I used my Nintendo VR set for this game and can get another totally different gaming experience.

I'm a casual Smash player, but I think this game has enough characters and game modes for any type of player, whether you're hardcore competitive or just messing around against easy COM opponents. It really is the ultimate version of Smash Bros.

If you own a switch it is a requirement to buy this game. I have been playing this series since it came out on the N64. But, this one takes the cake. It's a must-have for any age. Tl;dr I just bought my switch and I had to get this game.

Takes time to unlock all the characters, but once you do its a great party game

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is a step back. First the positives: The soundtrack is amazing. it's nearly every one of gaming's greatest songs ever created on one game. The roster.... Richter and Simon Belmont. Joker from Persona 5. King K Rool. Banjo Kazooie. Cloud Strife Solid Snake Sonic the Hedgehog Holy... what's next? Johanna Dark? Doomslayer? The Master Chief? ...And Negatives Yes, it has over 80 characters (which most of them are clones like previous games or just Marth reskined) + DLCs And almost every stage, (which most of them are just battlefield reskined) But it just feels off. No home run contest (added via patch later) No stage builder (added via patch later) No target smash No all star (been replaced by multi man / character smash) And no real adventure mode. They added a mode called Sprits, which is just Event mode with stickers (from brawl) on a Mario party board with three cutscenes... Didn't Brawl have 40 minutes worth of story cutscenes with a bunch of original 2.5D levels to explore? It would have been amazing to see all these characters interacting in some kind of story. The gameplay (for me) isn't as fun as previous games. Feels more like a technical/competitive fighter like Street fighter or Mortal Kombat. And the online is terrible. Nothing but lag, rage quitters and try hards. Overall, it's a good addition to the switch's catalog of games and you may find LOTS of enjoyment out of this game. Having played every Smash and being a huge Nintendo fan, I'm sad to say, I did not enjoy this game.

My nephew loves this game and cant leave the house without it. Highly recommend it to every parent.

This game is loads of fun with the kids. They love to smash buttons and kick characters off the platforms. There are a lot of characters and stages to choose from, along with various gameplay options.

I recommend the new Smash Ultimate to anyone who has a love for fighting competition games and who own a Nintendo Switch. Since buying this game I have been able to play it with friends and family alike, each and every time leaving with a smile on our faces.

This is by far the best game that lived up to its anticipation. Call me biased but I bought the switch mainly for this game. Purchasing process was smooth. Installing was never esier and faster. Gameplay is flawless. As big as this game goes, money spent right!

It could be must have Nintendo Switch game specially for multiplayer. I have total of 6 controller (4 Pro con, PS4 Dualshock with 8bitdo adapter, and Joycon) for whole my family and we are having fun. It is easy to learn to play even 5 year old kid could play.

Couldn't get over how much joy this game brought to my grandsons. Normally there is some arguing when the 2 boys are playing their game. From the start of the game the 2 boys were giggling and cheering. Definitely a hit!

2nd time buying this game. I enjoyed it so much on my Switch that I bought it for my nephew for his Switch. Excellent buy, love all the characters from across multiple game genres.

This is the best Smash Bros. game so far. It has every character and almost every stage in the series, is well-balanced, has support for loads of different customization options, and has a good single player mode (though I would've liked more cutscenes).

My 8 year old son loves this game! He loves that it has all the characters in it as well and the different fighting stages are all unique!

Honestly, does this even need a review? This is a classic and everything about it is great on the Nintendo Switch. Great variety of players, great story mode, great online gameplay experience. Couldn’t ask for more!

What more can be said? This game is fantastic in every way. Great graphics & presentation. The Adventure mode is not deep story wise, but overs 20+ hours of gameplay time. Huge cast of characters. Online support is spotty as of now, but will hopefully improve.
