Bought this for my son and ended up having to whole family join in. Hours of family fun, definitely need this with extra controllers too.

My son had this on the 3ds and saw this new game for the switch. Had to pick it up at Bestbuy for a Christmas present. Great entertainment for the kids.

I first thought this game was just a hyped up port. I was SO WRONG. This truly is a completely new Smash Bros. game. Every character has been revised both visually and technically, and the new system in the game is fast and fun. In my opinion, this is the best entry in the series. While there are less gimmicks (Target Smash, Stage Creator, etc.), Smash Bros. Ultimate puts the focus on gameplay more than ever before, and it pays off. I literally played this game for a week straight from the time I woke up, to the time I went to sleep, and I wasn't sleeping much.

If you know the series, you already know to buy this game. If you don’t know it, you’re probably a parent looking to buy this for your kid. You should know to buy this game. It’s a load of fun, and can be played by up to 8 people on the same TV. It has online capabilities so your kids can play against others across the world. There is no voice chat with the game itself, that will have to be downloaded as a separate smart phone ap. The game is easily accessible with a ton of characters and modes to keep you coming back for more. It’s easily worth the price.

Kids love it and unlocking the characters , even young kids who are just button pushers have fun

But Ultimate is also the most enjoyable entry since Super Smash Bros. Melee devoured the free time of my social circle through most of college. Because I can fine-tune the options I want, and pick the characters and stages I love from the franchise’s whole history, I’m almost guaranteed to be able to craft a fun match with whomever I’m playing with. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s gameplay is so snappy and fluid, its characters so rewarding in their variety, that it feels destined to dominate living rooms once again.

Great Smash game! So many of the greatest characters, music, and stages in gaming as a whole. The single player world of light is pretty deep and lengthy. My only complaint is that World of Light is no co-op, which would be really fun. Classic mode is still co-op so there is some fun you can have with a friend that isn't just pure smash fighting matches. Big pro is the music in this game: quantity and quality that you can listen to with the screen off!

Great game to the Nintendo Switch. I keep losing but with practice I will become better! Great game to have buy a Gamecube controller too!

Updated to Nintendo Switch and bought this as an extra game. Arrived as promised before Christmas. My boys love playing this together.

Super Smash Bros. has been a staple series in pitting your favorite Nintendo characters (also third party characters nowadays) against each other in an all out brawl. Ultimate brings out the best in the series by having every character from series past be present in this truly 'ultimate' package. Sakurai really pulled all stops possible with this title and its ease of play only makes it that much more alluring to those who just want to have a good time with their Switch whether it's with friends or solo. Can't recommend this title enough for all Switch owners.

The variety of modes will keep you entertained, and I like unlocking characters piece by piece. There’s a learning curve, but you’ll eventually get it!

Cannot believe they brought every character from the past and brought in so many more characters!!!! They upgraded everything and the 'Light' quest was amazing! I dont know where they will go from here but im ready for it!

Bought the game for my son for Christmas and he enjoys it. He's able to play online with his cousins which is great.

This is the ultimate game to have for the Nintendo Switch. Endless hours of playtime, with a whole bunch of unlock-able characters for your pleasure.

Got this games for my sons and they love it.. I like the fact that it’s not one of those bloody and gorey games and is suitable for the whole family.

Im glad I was able to get on the list to order early. My son n law asked for it for Christmas and I didn't realize it was even out yet. He will happy.

This has been my first purchase of a SSB title and I got to say that it's been quite the ride. I won't hold the game accountable for it's over the top gameplay and strategies since I'm fairly new to the game. It is quite fun and been enjoyable to unlock characters and become accustom to the ones I enjoy using. The button configuration is a little tough to get use to. But, that is common with most fighting games. I'll say that this title makes me want to get the previous ones to see what I missed the first time around. It is called Ultimate for good reason.
