It’s everything I have dreamed of. Plays like the original, plus the added features of the sequels and then some. Every fighter is at your disposal, but it makes you earn them in a challenging but not too difficult manner(s). Highly customizable via a very in-depth yet optional spirit function. It’s pretty heavy on characters from games you can tell Nintendo is trying to push, and the amount of spirits is wildly unnecessary, but hey: don’t use em and/or sell them.

I absolutely love this game, it brings back memories to the smash bros I played on the Game Cube. It simply looks great and plays well, I love all the different characters and I believe the online features for many Nintendo games (not just this one) saves the actual games from becoming stale. No one wants to just play the CPU’s, definitely enjoy my time playing against other players

One of the best fighting melee games ever made, plus a great character selection

What a wonderful experience. I'm terrible at competitive games, but there is so much to see and do in this game that it is a rich and complete experience regardless. Although I miss the exploration of modes like Smash Run on the 3ds, the breadth of content in World of Light mostly makes up for the omission. Love Spirits and all the goofy randomness that ensues in a battle. One of the top games on Switch, for sure....one of the top games of the last 5 years.

Excited to give this to my 11 year old daughter for Christmas!

They included all the characters! They added a couple more as well. They improved the graphics alot, runs very smoothly and at a high frame rate that seems higher than 60fps but I'm not a hardware tech. The only negative I have is that some characters abilities got changed around to "BALANCE" them. Ness for example can spam pk fire and you can get trapped in it if you don't defend (use shield) before hand and who is going to predict that constantly?

This particular game is amazing, addictively entertaining

I live being able to play Smash Bros on my switch! I also love how customizable the settings of this game are.

YOu have to be a fan of this game to play it on the level ppl do to enjoy it. No items final destination.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is jam packed with content from the ridiculous number of characters (every character from a previous game and more) to the hundreds of levels. To cap it off they incorporated a new spirit mode, which includes a story line and various challenges. Additionally, classic mode is back for each character. I've been thoroughly enjoying this game and can't think of any reason to give it less than 5 stars. Go out and buy it, it's well worth it!

Great fun game to play by yourself or with friends. Very expansive story mode!

Everyone is in it. A bunch of stages. All kinds of music from different series. What else do you need.

Really everything anyone could want in a smash game. The roster is fantastic and anyone that says unlocking them is lame, is wrong. It doesn't matter if it's their opinion. Their opinion is wrong. Unlocking the characters is fun and the game would be much less fun without it. My one gripe is online play. Lag is REALLY REALLY bad for 2/3 of the games I play. I know it's not on my end as every other game I play has zero lag and my ping hovers in the 30ms range.
