Customers praise Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's fun and riveting gameplay, along with its large cast of characters and extensive content. Best Smash Yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's smash bros. Pick your favorite characters and have fun. There's so much here that you'll take a while to get through all the single player content and then you'll just keep playing versus modes.

The best Smash Bros. yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm of the opinion that each Super Smash Bros. just keeps getting better and better, and this one is no exception. There's so much attention to detail, it's packed with content, the GameCube controller support is appreciated, and the new characters are simply amazing, especially King K. Rool, Simon Belmont, and Inkling. I'm not really big on the World of Light single-player mode though. I feel like Smash Bros. has yet to make a decent "adventure" mode, although Subspace Emissary in Super Smash Bros. Brawl came close. World of Light is repetitive and not all that fun; I much prefer playing the regular Smash modes and playing online. In any case, if you have a Switch, of course you should buy this.

Great with friends
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started off with smash 4 (3ds) and played the game solo for a long time until I met my best friends who also played the game but with melee. Every day after school I would watch them play or even get to play myself. The day ultimate was revealed we jumped right out of our seats. It’s been 2 years since that day and I can still say that this game and it’s franchise are one of the best things that happened to me, to the point of where I can now go toe to toe with them where I was getting decimated long before. I know no one might not read this review, but to all who worked on the game and helped give it out to the world, Thank you.

A blast!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best Switch game so far. Me and my sons play it for hours in battle mode, as teams, or the spirit story line. Brings back memories of all the original characters, music, and levels.

Biggest smash yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As far as bang for your buck this is the best smash, dozens of stages, every fighter to ever appear in the series and representation of dozens of series through spirits. Plenty of fun to be had here.

Small groups, 100% recommend
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolute blast of a game, originally got it to play the game with my girlfriend yet wound up playing it with her, my brother and his girlfriend too. Great game for small groups of people to just mess around and have some fun.

Super! Smash! Brothers!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ever since the Nintendo 64 I've been playing smash bros and the nostalgic feeling and the excitement for it hasn't go. This game incorporate all those great characters that we played with over the year. Very entertaining and definitely very competitive. The online game can use an improvement because no matter how fast or stable it's your connection, the game will lag and there is some kind of late movement going on... Apart from that I have no cons other than it doesn't have Sephiroth... O wait it does now!!

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this game and love this system. I have had to get used to two buttons being a bit different than I am used to on the Xbox but it really did not take long. Great stuff.

Fun game to play with family and friends
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fun game to play with family and friends, only downside is that you gotta unlock every character 1 by 1 which is a little time consuming to get them all but it’s worth the grind.

Amazing, but still could be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should tell you that this review is from the perspective of a relative newbie to the Smash games. However, in my opinion, Super Smash Bros Ultimate is a very high quality game, in graphics, design, and gameplay. The game looks absolutely gorgeous, and although many of the characters are from different games, they all have a clearly cohesive art style. As far as the combat goes it is fairly easy to pick up. If you are just starting out and simply want to button mash, then you can. However, there is much deeper combat for the player who is interested. Overall, Ultimate is a high quality game that is gorgeous, well made, has great depth, and is highly acessible for the beginner.

2nd Best Smash in Gameplay, 1st Best in Content
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To be frank, the gameplay is a massive step up from Smash Wii U/3DS. And while it still falls short of Melee's greatness, Ultimate isn't exactly far off. However, in content, Ultimate stands tall as the best in the series, even in spite of some absent modes. Spirits, while it can overstay its welcome after a while, sucks you in when you least expect it. And the changes made to Classic Mode makes it much more engaging to do with multiple characters. The only major flaws are the online (which is better than Wii U in some areas & worse in others) & the unlockable characters (which can get annoying after a while for a cast this big). Otherwise, this game is essential for any Switch owner.
