Super Smash Bros is a series I have always enjoyed. The frantic Nintendo fighting series has been played by me and my friends for years. Super Smash Bros Ultimate is an excellent game. Smash Bros Ultimate has every character from the past games as well as many of the stages. Multiplayer(offline and online) is a blast with tons of customization options. Single player story mode is fantastic with excellent challenges and collectibles that will engage you for hours. Staples to the series like Classic mode return as well giving players a variety of content. This game is highly recommended by me for anyone looking for a great single player/multiplayer game and should not be missed by any Nintendo Switch owner.

I'm not a particular fan of these types of tournament style games but I still enjoyed smash brothers. It has perfected the formula. I'm having the most fun unlocking all the characters (there are a lot).

My son is 9 and he loves this game. He is not allowed to play other fighting games. I feel this one is a good compromise if you are a parent that wants to keep you kids away from the more violent games.

Very nostalgic game that I have enjoyed a lot. It reminds me of the days when I use to play on the Wii. They have made the game even better from before by changing the graphics, and even adding new characters, The first boss you fight is Ness which is a nice call back to the original game.

I got this thinking it was just going to be like Melee or Brawl (I didn't play Smash 4 for Wii U or 3DS). There's a lot to do in this, including timed exclusive stuff on the Spirit Board. The story mode is pretty long (for me at least), and a lot of spirits and characters to unlock. I mainly bought this to play with the kids, but I got hooked to it and kept playing long after the kids went to sleep. It's very smooth and natural feeling, like Melee. I wasn't nearly as into Brawl after having played Melee so much. I might end up playing this more than I did Melee. I very highly recommend this, even for those who aren't fans of fighting games. It's just fun! (may update this once I play a whole lot more)

This game is so. Much. Fun. Is amazing how entertaining it is to go through and unlock the characters and there's always something different to do. Try the the story mode for a while, then jump back to the main menu where a new fighter will challenge you to a battle to unlock them. Try classic mode with it's series of 1v1 fights and sidescrolling bonus level before the boss (and definitely take one of the Belmonts to said fight) then shoot your way through the credits to another challenger. Lose one of those fights? Play a couple online matches with your new characters and then the one you missed will be ready for a rematch when you return to the menu! And throughout all of this the fighting feels great.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is an essential game for Switch owners. At its core a fighting game, SSBU's combat system easy to learn but challenging to master. Local multi-player (up to 8) is where the game shines, but there is a variety of rewarding ways to play solo as well. These modes include a surprisingly deep adventure mode titled World of Light and a traditional classic mode, where each fighter is given a unique set of challengers to face off against. Online play is an option too, though I have not tested this offering. Packed with content, this game should prove to provide hundreds of hours of entertainment. So, if you are still on the fence about this one, what are you waiting for? Ready? Go!

Smash bros has always been a Nintendo must have since the series began. Only thing is that you need to buy a controller to really play.

The game became more enjoyable when we discovered the Spirit Adventure mode. The family has been exploring for days now and we keep finding out more passages to venture on.

Smash ultimate is the newest game in the series and so far has been really fun to play. My favorite aspect of this iteration is the fact that all characters have returned from previous entries. I really enjoy the new character additions like Inkling and Incineroar as they have really expressive designs and move-sets. Even returning characters like Wolf from Smash Bros. Brawl have an improved design. In terms of overall game-play I'm afraid it can't compete with Smash Melee but this game is a close second and far better than Smash 4 and Brawl which were too slow and simple. The online netcode is not perfect and I would recommend purchasing an ethernet adaptor if you want to play competitively online.

"Most ambitious crossover event in history" Is the words that were used to describe Marvels: Infinity war. I take it, at the time they didnt know this game was coming out. Super Smash Bros Ultimate is exactly what its name indicates. The Smash Brotherts that you already know and love, but the ULTIMATE DEFINITIVE EDITION . The game currently includes 74 playable characters with 6 more on their way! The Single player adventure mode that averages between 30-60 hours will keep you plenty busy and give plenty of opportunity to practice with all the characters as well as give even veteran players a run for their money. If youre on the fence about this game, DONT HESITATE, JUST BUY IT. See you in Ultimate!

It's smash bros. Pick your favorite characters and have fun. There's so much here that you'll take a while to get through all the single player content and then you'll just keep playing versus modes.

I'm of the opinion that each Super Smash Bros. just keeps getting better and better, and this one is no exception. There's so much attention to detail, it's packed with content, the GameCube controller support is appreciated, and the new characters are simply amazing, especially King K. Rool, Simon Belmont, and Inkling. I'm not really big on the World of Light single-player mode though. I feel like Smash Bros. has yet to make a decent "adventure" mode, although Subspace Emissary in Super Smash Bros. Brawl came close. World of Light is repetitive and not all that fun; I much prefer playing the regular Smash modes and playing online. In any case, if you have a Switch, of course you should buy this.

I started off with smash 4 (3ds) and played the game solo for a long time until I met my best friends who also played the game but with melee. Every day after school I would watch them play or even get to play myself. The day ultimate was revealed we jumped right out of our seats. It’s been 2 years since that day and I can still say that this game and it’s franchise are one of the best things that happened to me, to the point of where I can now go toe to toe with them where I was getting decimated long before. I know no one might not read this review, but to all who worked on the game and helped give it out to the world, Thank you.
