If you've played any other smash game and love it. You'll love this one. Many characters, and levels. Takes a while to unlock them all though. I've played every smash bros game and this one keeps the pattern going of the smash bros greatness. I am not a fighting game person, but smash bros has always been so much fun. Especially with friends. If you haven't played smash bros before, then I recommend renting it to see if it's your style of game. The fighting mechanics are simple to learn, and can take some time to master. It is more about timing rather than combo attacks like other fighting games. I bought the gamecube style controller because I hate how small the switch controllers are, and am not disappointed. The nostalgia is real. My reason for taking one star away is the online. It is ok, fun at times to play competitively online but connection issues do happen, and causes lag sometimes. Overall still fun!

One of the biggest(if not the biggest) rosters ever in a fighting game. You can show your skills with characters from Pokemon, Final Fantasy, The Persona Series, Mario, Fire Emblem, and many more. A must have for any switch owner. If you dont own a switch, do your self the favor and buy one along with Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

There is so much work that has gone into this game and it shows. The is the perfect game to have some good couch multiplayer fun to duke it out with your friends with your favorite Nintendo characters and more. You can play online as well. Anyways, I am sure you have heard all of this before so it's not new news to you! It's Super Smash Bros!

Best game to play with friends. Replay value is high. Can’t ever go wrong with Nintendo Mario games. Highly recommended!

This is my first Smash game, and, honestly, I ordered it primarily because of the hype. If other people liked it, surely I would too. And I do. The roster is fantastic; it's fun to look at the game cover and imagine myself battling as all these characters (some of whom I'm unfamiliar with, but still...). In practice, however, as a newcomer to the franchise, I have a hard time beating the AI. The game starts with only 8 characters available; every now and then a new character shows up, but only if they are defeated. I can only beat them about half the time, so even after a few hours, I've only unlocked, maybe, 10 more characters. So still like 50 to go...this will take me years. Nevertheless, the fighting is fun and I like that the controls are simple and more or less consistent between characters, so I don't have to remember endless combos. I don't have the time nor motivation for that. The levels varied and imaginative; I especially liked the one where it plays the original Marios Brothers level 1-1 as you fight. Overall, fun, but difficult for a newbie.

My kids love it. My son plays esports at school and this is one of them

It was a Christmas gift and he really enjoyed it. A must add to his collection and we got a collectors coin for it too.

playing against friends in person or with them in tag team online are the best parts of the tame

This game is so fun! It’s not quite as great as the GameCube smash was but it’s still super fun to play, and makes a great party game or game to play with some friends. I would definitely recommend it.
