Sakurai has impressed us greatly yet again. Tons of characters to choose from a plethora of beloved franchises with countless visually appealing stages and amazing music tracks. Better yet, the game is being expanded evermore with DLC and official support possibly for many years to come, with this game being the definitive installment in the entire franchise. Online multiplayer could be free and of higher fidelity. Story mode is a nice step up from the awkward platforming of Brawl's Subspace Emissary. Characters could be more balanced, but continuous updates obviously fix this without the need to produce any more separate games. Otherwise, wonderful!

As the second Smash Bros. game I've played, with Super Smash Bros. for NDS being the first one, this supersedes any previous gameplay. It's highly immersive and the roster is amazing. A must-have for every Switch owner.

It plays great on my switch. Is a family favorite. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

My son loves it. Literally won’t put it down. Keeps him entertained ALL day. I have to tear it away from him.

This is a great game with a lot of content it is fun to play with friends. The online sucks at times because people have bad connections. Make sure to get a lan adapter so you know its the other person lagging and not you.

Tons of fun from this Nintendo game that got better and better than the original.

My son asked for a Switch for Christmas and only asked for one game and this was it. We have played this game on other consoles and he was glad to see some players have returned. I personally haven't had a chance to play.

Kids seem to enjoy it tremendously. Challenging to where they have to earn all of the hidden characters, but not so much so that it’s a nuisance. High replay value and its Super Smash Bros! No way to not have fun with it!

This game lives up to the hype. This is a must have game for you switch collection. It is awesome to play with friends and family. Classic mode is my favorite part of the game. Reminds me of playing super smash on the N64.

I was told that I had “won Christmas” by my brother for getting the new Smash Brothers Nintendo game. So glad that they had it in stock on release day, so close to Christmas! And they also gave us free smash brothers swag.

All the characters are back, most of the music and stages are back and the new game modes are simple and addicting. Any flaws this game might have are nitpicky. This game is creative and encourages you to be creative back.

Keeping a good thing going strong. Super fun game, both to just pick up and play with my family and get a little more more competitive with. Definitely need to pick up something besides the joy-con to play this one with.

Aside from some iffy net-code this is a great addition to smash. Lots to do solo and (of course) lots of fun when playing with friends. Net play can be iffy but if everyone in a match has a strong connection it works well.

Do yourself a favor and buy it. Even if you are new to the game, you can learn the controls and all it takes is a bit of practice. Definitely recommend getting the gamecube add-on or the switch controllers for easier play.

The game is fun and packs so much content. I actually enjoyed the spirit story mode more than I thought I would. My only gripe is that the graphics are a bit low on character models and colors on characters seem washed out

This game is great for anyone from button-mashers to strategic gamers. There are so many options and gameplay methods. The story is so fleshed out and the spirit system lends to hours of gameplay. This game is perfection!

The best game ever! I used to play this on the Wii console but so happy that it’s available to play on the Nintendo Switch. If you’re leaning towards getting this, definitely do it!!

My one major issue with this game is that the story mode starts to feel like a grind, more than fun, only after a short while. However, every other mode is perfect, and the only real point of getting Smash is to play local multiplayer anyways. Unlocking every character takes a good while as well, which kind of takes some of the fun out of playing with friends immediately once you get the game.

I bought this for my son for his birthday at his request. He says it is a fun game to play. We were on vacation at the time and he carried his switch around with him so he could play the game when he had some “down” time.

This game has so much to offer. It feels like all my friends are playing and its fun to get together and play. The single player also feels huge. I play for a bit every day and it feels like i barely scratched the surface
