Very nostalgic game that I have enjoyed a lot. It reminds me of the days when I use to play on the Wii. They have made the game even better from before by changing the graphics, and even adding new characters, The first boss you fight is Ness which is a nice call back to the original game.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is truly a love letter by Nintendo to the video game industry. It shows a tremendous amount of passion towards our many beloved franchises through World of Light, Spirit Battles, and even Classic Mode. It’s got 76 base characters, with 6 more on the way (and possibly others added in down the road). That’s just incredible. The gameplay is fun, fast, and responsive. Whether you’re in for a casual time or a hardcore, competitive experience, SSBU has something you’ll love. Absolutely well worth the price of admission. Get it without hesitation and if you don’t own a Nintendo Switch get, it’s a must buy, too.

I havent played a smash game in some years so I was very pleasantly surprised with this. I could drone on about the game play but if you like smash this one plays better than any other I have played. The big thing that I appreciate most about this game is the sheer volume of content, tons of stages characters and 100s of hours worth music, this is defitnetly a labor of love. Online can be a bit dicey if someone has a weak internet connection but fairly solid overall and playing smash with friends and family sitting with you is the best way to play. If youve ever played smash give this a try, your virtually guaranteed to like it.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is possibly the best fighting game for the current generation of consoles. It's fun to play with friends (up to 4 players!) on your TV, it's fun to play by yourself (a long single-player campaign is included, which earns unlocked characters and power-ups that can be used when playing multiplayer as well), and it's fun to play with the family (button-mashing is effective, if you have younger players in the group, and there's no blood/gore). Highly recommended!

I love smash brothers! I played the first one on the Nintendo 64 and many of the others leading up to this one. This game I can say for sure that the difficulty has been ramped up... or I'm just getting worse at the game. You have over 70 characters to choose from (once you unlock them), and lots of modes to use them in. The story mode is a great addition to the game but some of those levels are literally impossible if you don't' have the right spirit to beat it with. I play this game as much as I can. I don't have online so I can't say if that's good or not, but everything else about the game is great. Fun Party game

You can play this game over and over again with different people and not get board. There are 3 ways to play - the stamina battle, the time battle and the stock battle.

The phrase "Up for smash?" somehow turned from being about playing video games to some sort of euphemism popular with the kids these days. As a result it's been really hard to send texts out to see if my friends want to play video games. "Smash tonight?" I'd send, followed by an enthusiastic reply of "yes, doors unlocked, hurry!". But when I show up with my Switch in tow, there's always a slight look of disappointment among the assembled parties, as I had once again misconstrued the invitation. That is until the joycons come out and a grand time of "5 stock no items" is had. This is the fighting game that everyone has been waiting for since the Switch was announced. Every fighter that has ever been in a Smash Bros game, plus more you couldn't believe they added, with even more to come as DLC. Except Waluigi. Even if you don't have friends that'll play with you even though they clearly had other intentions when they invited you over, there's enough single player content to keep you busy, especially unlocking spirits in the new World of Light mode. Online mode is a bit of a toss-up as the big N still can't get a proper online system like every other console & PC, because "think of the children". Still, this is the Smash you know and love.

While there are some slight changes to the gameplay that still have thrown me off, this is arguably the best Smash made yet. The fact that they have included everyone from the previous iterations into this title, plus introducing several new characters, this is a game that cannot be missed if you are a fan of the franchise. Coupled with the fact that the Switch is portable, you have a console-level Smash experience without the sacrifices that were made to Sm4sh 3DS. Nintendo still suffers from some odd choices with online play, but the overall experience of the title is a great one for me.

The amount of content in this game is ridiculously good and easily makes it worth the price. All the fighters feel fun to use and each have their own classic mode series of fights that give neat references to their own games and origins. The controls feel faster and better than the previous iteration with added mechanics that give hardcore players more goals to reach. The World of Light adventure mode and spirits are a fun addition that gives all the other character art and assets some use but can get tedious at times. Can't comment on online since I don't have the membership.

One of the best game you could ever have for your switch. The best for friends nights or even competitive style of gaming. You need to play the entire spirit story to unlock every character (And trust me, it is the great story of all smash bros.) I am really enjoying it, and hope you'll too.

this is probably the best game in the series and it will be hard to top it. This game has all the characters and stages from past games, adds in a bunch of new characters - both popular new characters like the Splatoon inklings, and long requested one's like Ridley and King K.rool, and adds even more as DLC. Single player mode isn't as cool as Brawl's subspace emissary I think, but it is still amazingly fun and challenging, and contains so many references to game that it truly is a blast of you can recognize them.

One of the best games on the Nintendo switch. Favorite player is Link. Also have love for Kirby and Zelda. This game brings back so much nostalgia and makes me feel like a kid again at 23 years old. Its a game you could have fun by yourself and also play with your family or even kids or siblings. Definitely recommend this if you get a Nintendo switch! It id a must have.

If you know the series, you already know to buy this game. If you don’t know it, you’re probably a parent looking to buy this for your kid. You should know to buy this game. It’s a load of fun, and can be played by up to 8 people on the same TV. It has online capabilities so your kids can play against others across the world. There is no voice chat with the game itself, that will have to be downloaded as a separate smart phone ap. The game is easily accessible with a ton of characters and modes to keep you coming back for more. It’s easily worth the price.
