I really enjoy this new release of Smash bros. You have to unlock characters, all the characters from past games are in this one. DLC fighters are on the way. You can play with your Gamecube controller if you have the correct adapter installed. Its awesome. One of the best releases on the Switch.

Absolutely fun and love the story line in the beginning. You have to unlock tons of characters and it's not always easy. Play the fun games same as Wii u, but with tons more scenes and characters. Love the challenges. Play with many players too, up to 8 at once! Awesome! Nintendo did a great job!

I was super excited to get this game on sale and I am having a lot of fun playing with my family. I definitely like that you can get more characters free by playing and winning against them.

This game has a ton of content! It includes every smash character and every level from the previous games. It also has many modes to keep you busy. the adventure mode alone is worth the price. It is a single player story campaign where you get to unlock characters. If you like smash, buy this!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is an absolutely incredible game that has something for everyone. There is a staggering amount of content in this game. The gameplay is as tight and fun as ever and is continuously updated with more characters and stages. If you own a Switch, you need this game!

Me and my boyfriend have battled on this game plenty of times and let’s just say it’s led to some arguments. We love it as competitive people and I think many people would. As you play you also unlock new characters which is cool.

This version has been revised from previous game (Wii U version) and contains all DLC from WIi U. Some of the characters has been nerfed, and some other has been buffed. New characters and stages have been included. It is a great game to enjoy by either playing online or with friends around.

This game has everything a Nintendo fan could want. Tons of fan service and has every character every featured in previous games plus some great new additions (and more with future DLC). You should buy this game, it's an essential part of any Switch owner's library.

For my money, SSB Melee on Game Cube was the best SSB. That said, Ultimate is right up there in terms of quality and fun. The levels are challenging. The gameplay is fierce. And there are tons of characters to unlock. This is a must-have game for the Switch, for sure.

This game is so much fun with friends it's incredible. The amount of content to go through is also something to behold. The only complaint I have is that it takes a good while to unlock all the characters, but you will probably have a good bit of enjoyment going through the process anyhow.

This was my son’s Christmas gift along with the switch. All my nieces and nephews were glued to the TV playing the game on the big screen. They were able to fight each other all at the same time without the screen being split! It was great seeing them all laughing while playing this game!

Very fun to play. Daughters & I enjoy battling each other & just bashing the characters around. Brings back memories of the original when my wife & I would play.

This game is fun,entertaining and also easy for starters and for experts of this series.It has many recognizable characters from Nintendo and other series outside of Nintendo like sonic the hedgehog and metal gear solid.With over 70 fighters this is good for single player and multiplayer.

I’ve been a big fan of Super Smash Bros since the original on N64 blew the doors off fighting games style. Countless hours, days and sleepless nights playing tournaments with friends in living rooms and strangers at tournaments alike. This laziest edition of the esteemed series might just be the best yet. Beyond the obvious online abilities and being able to fight people from all over the globe, the graphics are insaneeee and the amount of characters both Nintendo brand and donated icons from other game developer companies is no in the hundreds. The solo fight option is also entertaining, although Super Smash Bros has always been the type of game meant to bring people together wether physically or digital. Either way, highly recommended!

My son loves this game. Good how it can be a one to a multiple player game. Love all the different characters.

There isn't too much to say about the game if you've played any of the previous incarnations. It's a great game. It has countless characters, venues, modes, long story mode, and balanced gameplay. This game is a must for anyone who's a fan of the series or just fighting games in general.

Game is great for sibling rivalries. Especially when you’re the best.

I originally got this game to play with the kids...it is a fun game but they always seem to kick my butt every time.

This game has quite the extensive Spirit (single-player) story mode gameplay. The controls and characters are pretty easy to learn. My kids picked it up fast. Unlocking all +70 characters available has been fun. It is easy to see why this is one the Switch's best selling games.

All previous Smash Bros. Characters are playable, you just have to unlock most of them through classic, multiplayer, and World of Light modes. Plays a little differently than gamecube version. If you like previous iterations of Smash Bros, then you'll like this one, too. A lot of fun!
