I play this for hours on end with my friends. They play competitively, and I play with them, so I guess I play it semi- competitively? It's got loads of single player content with the spirit board and world of light. The characters I used to use got nurfed hard, but no character is so bad you shouldn't give them a try. It's a great game!

Every single character ever from the entire history of the franchise and more released periodically? Who wouldn’t want to beat their friends on all of the different maps with new items. I love how it supports the use of many controllers and has increased online capabilities. This is truly a masterpiece.

Awesome game for the Nintendo Switch - family fun o plenty!

This is the definitive smash game and the best by far. This smash game is great for fans of the series and for newcomers. It has everything anyone could want. It plays great too, its fast enough for more competitive gameplay but slow enough for less skilled players. I highly recommend this everyone, especially fans of previous smash games.

Our kids are in their 20's, and play this with family & friends every holiday at our house--and have a blast. One of them also plays in Super Smash Bros competitions (mostly for fun), and they all play online. Also: Great fun to watch (even if you haven't a clue as to what's happening onscreen)!

Game my kids love to play at anytime. I thought they would be lukewarm to it but it has been the preferred game. Family game night alternate between this and Mariokart.

Still one of the best and must own Switch games. There is a reason is rarely goes on sale. Its that good. Should be owned by every Switch owner. From the graphics, unforgettable players and the game play style.

Great game, easy to understand and provides many hours of fun

After several days of play, I'm willing to say that this game captures the feel of older games in the series, and adds a significant single-player component as well. The game runs smoothly in either docked or portable mode. If you're a fan of Nintendo's characters, this is an excellent game to have a blast with either alone or with friends.

It is a really good and game. We spent time in family gaming. My children enjoy playing battles between them. It has a lot of awesome characters super powerful.

Definitely one of the best games out there. Reminds me of my childhood with the old nintendo’s. I love it and specifically bought the Nintendo switch for this game! I’ve been playing this game everyday since I’ve bought it, my eight year old sister loves it and my twenty-three year old brother loves it. It’s a game for any age!

I'm a big mario fan and been waiting a long time for this and so far Nintendo has done it again! The game is very addicting didn't wanna stop playing and has lots of new characters. Have to get used to the controls and know the special attacks each character can do. Still learning it since it's been awhile but anyways awesome job Nintendo!
