The game hasnt evolved much since the original besides the addition of characters, and stages. This new game has a new mode however called Spirit Adventure which combines, trading card,board game style with fighting. there is no real "Story". After a while it can get boring of playing especially if your by yourself. But with friends over the game can be very exciting.

With over 70 characters and more stages than should be legally possible, you really can't get bored with the game's selection. The combat is MUCH improved over the previous "Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS," which I already thought was an improvement over Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. Whether you're looking for a party fighting game to play with friends or a surprisingly deep fighter to master and dominate opponents with, you can't go wrong with Smash Ultimate.

Amazing game, fun for the whole family, tons of characters

Definitely hours of entertainment in one small box!! My grandson is enjoying Super Smash Ultimate. I have no knowledge or experience with video games so I asked for help. My Best Buy associate recommended this game. It was out of stock at my store so we ordered it while in the store. It arrived at my house the next day. Definitely a winner!

Bought this game to play on the Switch with the kids. It is fun and not that difficult so everyone can enjoy.

My granddaughter said you can challenge other characters. When it says a new player has joined the battle you get a new character. She plays it on 3 because easier she says 9 is too hard. She is 9 years old.

I don't care if you like Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption 2, or Super Mario Odyssey. It doesn't matter because this game will take you away from all of those. It is the most addicting game I've ever played. I can't remember the last time I've had this much fun. Glass game to keep me this entertained for as long as this game has so far what's Super Smash Brothers Melee. It must own game for anybody who owns a switch. Hands down the best game for 2018!

The Smash Bros series has always been a great source of fun for me and Ultimate is no difference. It is easily the most accessible to new players and deep enough for the veterans to learn and play for hours on end. With over 70 characters that can unlock through playing any of various game modes, you will definitely invest some serious time in this game. My only gripe was the omission of 3D trophies. I loved the feature and would've loved to have it back.

It’s a really fun game that brings back old memories, I wish they had the great music from the older ones.

Great game and so many options! Graphics are amazing! Only downers are I prefer Zelda’s Twilight Princess look instead of her new BotW look(wish they had both options instead of just a re-color of her Twilight look ) . Also, the 25$ season pass is a bit much for 5 characters. However, it’s still a must-own game on the switch if you wanna have some super smashing fun with friends or family. The game has the most stages and characters to date! Love it!
