Smash has been a staple of Nintendo consoles since N64. This one is no different and the biggest Smash yet. All the characters, all the stages, all the items plus new ones of course, all in one Ultimate package. This game is right up with Mario Kart as Nintendo's best party games while still being fun by yourself. It's one of them games that most everyone will enjoy messing around with. A must have unless you are sure you have no interest in it.

I was very excited to finally have Smash on the Switch. This is hands down the best version to date. Between adventure mode, online play and classic mode there are endless ways to play the game. Adventure mode has proven to be a very fun story mode with the addition of spirits making the gameplay unique and interesting. The only complaint I have is the occasional lag experienced with online play and the lack of local chat function on the switch.

Good for hours of fun for my daughter. Both challenging and engaging enough to play for many months.

This was a gift for a child. Very, entertaining with hours of fun and really enjoyed the adventure mode.

I don't remember smash bros being this difficult, but I suppose I can just turn the cpu level down. The menu can be confusing to navigate. Gameplay is excellent. Wish the tourney could be done with a 2-player team in 2v2 format.

This game is awesome! Love the single player game play. So much to do. It’ll take me months to complete.

I bought this to go along with the new Switch I bought for the kids (ages 11, 13, and 15). They love it!

Great game, being an old school arcade gamer... this game was a lot of fun. It was entertaining unlocking 60+ characters through classic mode. I’d give it 4-4.5 stars out of 5. But I gave it 5. Once I got all characters of 78 so far, so yeah like I said I’m an old school gamer I’m not interested really playing the other game modes that the kids play now a days... very entertaining though!

With the Nintendo switch version you can use two player mode, unlike that first version I played on ColecoVision. It took hours for the boiler to generate enough steam to spin the flywheel to create basic motion. Now I just use this battery powered stick. I am going to go right out and ask a hobo to dinner so he will play this game with me.

Smash bros has always been a staple for Nintendo consoles and this game is amazing and probably the best since the original. Theirs so much in the story mode for single players and a lot of characters to unlock through story mode or even local and online multiplayer! You’ll have plenty of hours spent in this game until you even get close to completing it. You’ll also have so much fun playing online weather it’s causal or Competitive.

The game is great, but trying to figure out how to play dual players was a bit challenging.

I got this game from a recommendation and have not regretted it. This game is so fun that we bought a second copy of it so we can play online with others. You can play on the same system, but it is better if you have your own tv/monitor to play against others. We even play on-line while we are all at home.

Loved the Super Smash Bros series. When I got my Switch, this was a no brainer as a must pick up for me.

The amount of content in this game has kept me coming back to it since I got it. Classic and World of Light are a lot of fun, with Classic having a co-op option. Sadly, World of Light does not, but it is still a lot of fun. There are also many ways to customize your experience while playing, from making custom match settings, to using or not using Spirits to aid you in battle. This is a great party game, and a must-have for any Switch owner.

Although I didn't get the challenge coin I still highly recommend this game!

If you’ve ever played a smash game then you know what you’re getting - tons of characters, game modes - perfect for fun with friends or trying to get as good as you can alone. One of the best all round games out there

It seems nowadays you end up paying more for video games, but end up getting less of everything. I thought this was going to be the same thing. Well, I was wrong. Although the case was smaller, the cartridge was smaller, and there wasn’t even a manual, I was pleasantly surprised how well the game turned out for what I paid for. There are so many playable characters and arenas. You just need to unlock them. 8 players, need I say more?
