SSBU is a really fast-paced game, yet it's highly approachable. You don't need to be an expert button-masher to have fun here. The basic moves are easy to pick up and a few minutes in the practice area can help you hone your moves. Easy enough to start battling within your first 5-minutes with the game though. The breadth of chapters and battle environments is pretty astonishing. Love the fact that you can play with friends & family locally.

This game is another great example of exemplary game development by Nintendo. The game is packed with thoughtful attention to detail in every aspect marrying the best parts of every game in the series to date into one gigantic package. The game is easy and fun to pick up and play but difficult to master. The amount of content you get for $60 is something sorely missed in the games industry these days; definitely worth your time and money.

With the largest character roster to date this game is filled with content and well worth the money. The adventure mode is a welcomed addition and very fun to play. It's fun unlocking spirits and leveling them up to get that added advantage in battle. Anyone who is a fan of Smash Bros. this is a no brainer purchase, but to anyone who hasn't played one, its incredibly fun and addictive. I highly recommend it for anyone who owns a Switch.

Cant' stop playing this game, Street Fighter Mario version

I bought this game, right after I bought my Nintendo Switch! I fell in love with this game because it brought me back to the Good ‘ol Days when Super Smash Brother was On Nintendo 64! It reminds me of that version but with so many more characters! I unlocked all 60+ Characters! It has a lot of Pokémon Characters that you'll be able to unlock too. My favorite Character is Mewtwo ! Also a great game for battle if up to 8 players!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Nintendo Switch fun for all ages. My 6 year old grandson loves this game.

Got this for my son for his birthday along with his new Switch. He loves this game.

Awesome game. They don't get Smash wrong. The one thing that is off is the online play. Never had slow downs or lag when online was free (with early entry games). Paying money, now I get matches that are virtually unplayable. Love all the extras. Great game, online is hit or miss.

If you have a Nintendo Switch or intend to buy one soon this game is a must have in your Switch library

Smash brothers game has been the entertainment for my son and his friends. can't wait till I buy Zelda

This is the best version of Smash ever. Tons of players, 8 players on 1 console, and lots of variation.

So Smash Brothers has been great during the Melee era, and less than during the Brawl era. This game is really just as great as Melee, but it doesn't have the nostalgic factor, mostly because it's still new and it's hard to feel nostalgic for something new by definition. Anyway, the game plays great, has a lot of replay-ability, and can be enjoyed solo when you do not have company over (which couch co-op is when it truly shines).

This game has come a long way. Lots of improvements from past releases. Sitting down to play it with my son and there’s a lot going on. It’s almost too much for me, which makes me feel crazy old, and I was a kid in the ‘80s! Makes me miss the days of how easy it was to play Street Fighter, but I like that so many players can jump in during a battle. Lots of characters to choose from, and the graphics are amazing. Hours of play in my future.

My children like to play these game a lot with friends and family members

I haven't played it. My 10yr old son says it is awesome. Besides Dauntless, this is the only other game he will play for now. May change soon, but for now it is awesome. I have no idea why it is awesome. His description (because it IS awesome) is more of a looping blindfold than revelatory mirror. Still, awesome is the verdict, making my $ well spent. Sort of. It is a game. He makes good grades. Bah. Awesome!

This is the best Super Smash Bros ever created. The game has exceeded all of my expectations in every way. The game is fast paced, well balanced, and runs perfectly smooth. The sheer cast of characters in the game is enough reason to buy it. Many Smash players wish the era of Smash bros Melee could return; I believe that Smash Bros Ultimate has finally made that a reality. This game is amazing! It's a 100% must buy for every Switch owner!

Loved this series of games since the N64. Still do! There was a bit of a hiccup with Brawl in terms of style and speed gameplay-wise (imo) but the soundtracks were amazing (it was still an enjoyable game!). Now with this one I feel the gameplay is picking the speed back up, bringing old mechanics back as well as new ones. As per usual, this smash game has become one of our go-to games when the friends come over. Thanks Nintendo team!
