Smash bros is back, it EVERYONE is in as the tagline says. LOADS of characters to choose from, which is insane. Just when you thought Sakurai was done with the Wii U/3DS game, they come out with an even bigger package for switch. Alot of Nintendo love is in this game which is amazing for any fan. I am one of those few that have the opinion, that I wish all the characters could be together doing something else than beat the tar out of each other like. Like Racing, or sports, or something not that violent. Regardless, the game is still a blast with friends especially. My gripe is the online mode. When you make your own room for friends to join, you can't even add any local players to the room. Brawl nailed this with the ability to have up to 3 on one system and 1 on another, or 2 on 1 system and 2 on the other. Smash 4 did 2 per system for playing with friends. And now...its 1 player per switch in friend rooms....what...a...down...grade...it hurts. Its been several updates in, with the addition of Min Min...and still this feature is missing...what a gut puncher.

I've put over 50 hours in so far and I'm loving it! There are SOOOO many characters and stages. Lots of options, so you can play just how you like it. The World of Light single player campaign is much more engaging than anything we've seen in previous Smash titles. The spirits are fun to collect and are actually fundamental to the gameplay itself, unlike trophies and stickers in previous titles. Online is a little laggy, but that's expected at launch. Should get better over the coming weeks. Overally, a fantastic game worth $60 easily.

My kids at school turned me on to Smash bros. I love this game and look forward to playing with my kids in school on Fridays for Fun friday

This game is called Ultimate for a reason! Soooo many characters, stages, music...it’s amazing! If you are a fan of Smash, this is a must own!

I have never played Smash before but all of friends had and said I would love it. They were right. Great game for parties!

While the basis of this game is simply to beat your opponents into submission with fictional characters, whether it be against the computer, people online, or your family and friends sitting next to you, the game lends itself to grant an enjoyable experience for a long time. You've got regular Smash modes, Classic modes, Adventure modes, Online modes, and more, all with the ability to adjust them through different settings and options. You'll spend at least 40 hours with the Adventure mode alone. Easily one of the best games of the year.

I don’t think there’s much to say about this product besides it’s awesome entertaining smash brothers keeps getting better and better

My 11 year old loves this game and anything Mario. Glad I was able to get it during Christmas at a good price.

This is by far one of my kids favorite versions of the Mario Bros game! Definitely fun for all ages in our home from 8-19. Okay even 42 too!

Great game for multiplayer with your friends, but also fun to play by yourself.

It is an excellent party game that is easy to learn and loads of fun. You can also practice alone and beat your friends later.

Christmas gift for my 17 & 7 year old. They love this game and they can actually play together even though there’s a 10 year age difference.

Great to play with friends and family. Couch play is best experience. Soloplay is fun as well playing against up to 7 bots. Only downside is online play. It's terrible! What are we paying the $20 per year for if not for dedicated servers for little to no lag online play? Even if u used a lan adapter, if someone else in your match lags so do you

Online can be a bit laggy, probably due to lots of people using wifi, but other than that no complaints. If you like smash you'll like this.

This game is awesome and many unlocks and achievements to get. You will be busy and entertained for hours. Try to get some sleep if you can!

Major time waster game. Ever since SuperSmashBros came out on GameCube, you find yourself racking up serious game time just having fun solo or with friends. The same continued on the 3DS version. Now with the game on the Switch, not only does the fun continue, it is also awesome on trips in the car or airplanes or out and about. I'm lucky I got this on sale as I like to save money. This is worth full price though.
