Wonderful addition to the series!

The new single-player mode alone is enough to keep someone entertained for dozens of hours, and the roster of fighters is huge this time around. If you enjoy other Smash games, you'll probably enjoy this one too, and maybe more.

Best Smash Yet!

The single player story mode is completely revamped and is actually a strength to the game for the first time ever. The added characters are great and the game is flawless as usual. Online gameplay has improved but is still not perfect.

Personally, I find it too frenetic — it's impossible for me to keep up with what's happening on the screen — but if you're in the target market, it seems like they've found a winning formula here.

Best game of the series

So far, this has been my all time favorite so far next to Melee. At this point, I play them both an equal amount of time and can say they have made so many improvements over Brawl and Sm4sh. Tons of new characters, new mechanics, and tons of content.

Best game for switch

Plenty of controller options for your preferred way to play, including the cherished GameCube controller (with adapter, but the one for the Wii U will work). Insane amount of fighters and stages, and 8-player smash definitely makes for the best party game on the switch.

One of the best games of all time

Who wouldn’t want to beat their friends on all of the different maps with new items. I love how it supports the use of many controllers and has increased online capabilities. This is truly a masterpiece.

One of them also plays in Super Smash Bros competitions (mostly for fun), and they all play online. Also: Great fun to watch (even if you haven't a clue as to what's happening onscreen)!
