Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the best in the series. It has so many robust modes--with a fully featured and lengthy story mode, an arcade campaign, co-op, tournaments, and multiplayer. Great variety with access to every Smash character in history, which brings new layers of complexity to the overall balance of the game. This is truly an amazing game and quite the feat, and the replay value is astounding. I will be playing this game with my friends for years to come!

This game is fantastic. It is stuffed to the brim with easter eggs and homages to gaming history. The controls are super tight and responsive and the pace of the game has gone up from previous iterations. The are some minor mechanics that aren't as "tight" as melee for those competitive players (prepare for sacrilege), but I have NEVER played Smash as a legit competitive game. It will never be balanced enough for that. In my mind it was never meant to be though. The game is just endlessly fun and cram packed FULL of content and characters and stages and an obscene amount of music.

Arrived on time and in good condition. One of my favorite games and really fun multiplayer.

I purchased this for my siblings, and they have lots of fun playing against each other and unlocking new characters!

At Nick was nice enough to add the little stocking stuffer for the kiddos. They seem to love it. Keeps them busy. Great game.

I've never felt bored playing it and I can see myself enjoying it for a long time even though this game is a few years old after I purchased it. The game has several fighters from various gaming franchises, and there is a fighter for all types of playstyles. As a casual player, I enjoyed playing through the Adventure mode and selecting Spirits to help defeat enemies. Testing my skills in online play against other players was a blast as well.

I now have about 500 hours in this game, so I think I'm qualified to write a review for it (maybe 2 years too late). Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the best fighting game of the past 10 years. Maybe 20. Maybe, ever. The game is a must-have for any switch owner. Only drawback is the online-play. The GSP system is so flawed in so many ways, I don't even know where to begin. However, if you just wanna sit down on the couch and destroy your little brother using Ganondorf as your vessel, this is the game for you.

This game has everything you’d want out of a smash game. Plenty to unlock and all the stages from every previous game. The morph stages adds infinite variety.

Bought for my husband and he loves it! He plays it with friends out of state, and strangers too!

Having never played the original, I didn't know what to expect when trying Super Smash Bros. for the first time. As a one-player game, the Adventure mode is fun, but not nearly as fun as the multiplayer mode. This is where the game shines - nearly anyone can pick this up and start having fun right away. At its most basic, you can simply mash buttons and still put up a good fight. There's plenty more skills to learn and I look forward to playing this with my family.

Super Smash Bro’s Ultimate is my primary reason for buying the Nintendo Switch, so I was happy to see Best Buy has in stock!

This is a awesome game and is extremely fun the only thing that bugs me is the character unlock system though this is minor this new installment is very good

Ever since I got the Nintendo Switch over a month ago, I have always wanted this game for a while, since it has been a popular game for the Nintendo Switch.

this is probably the best game in the series and it will be hard to top it. This game has all the characters and stages from past games, adds in a bunch of new characters - both popular new characters like the Splatoon inklings, and long requested one's like Ridley and King K.rool, and adds even more as DLC. Single player mode isn't as cool as Brawl's subspace emissary I think, but it is still amazingly fun and challenging, and contains so many references to game that it truly is a blast of you can recognize them.

Having played the original Smash Bros and Melee in the past, I come back to the Nintendo family after almost two decades to the version intended for the Switch. Love the variety of playable characters, stages, and choice of music for each stage. I'm also new to online gaming via consoles (outside of PC games). So availability of online battles is a definite plus. The online battling mode is fraught with some connectivity issues, as I've encountered some lag during battles. Despite this one setback, I'm glad I picked it up.

Smash smash smash smash. What more can I say this is one of the first game you should get when buying a switch.

This is my first actual time playing this series and it is a must have if you own a Nintendo Switch. Great single player game but even more fun with friends!

Cannot believe they brought every character from the past and brought in so many more characters!!!! They upgraded everything and the 'Light' quest was amazing! I dont know where they will go from here but im ready for it!

bought this for my nephew and immediately started playing trying to unlock the characters. He also loves playing with his siblings

Wonderful game. Kids love it. Wish multiple players in same household could play online together with other friends at the same time
