Pretty good dlc not as big as the others but still you have just the one character as oppose to the one character stage music stage and spirts but it’s a good character and I don’t think it’s a bad purchase overall

As a long time fan of the super smash bros series, I was thrilled when I saw the Piranha Plant fighter added to the roster. What initially attracted me to this DLC character was the nostalgia and fun factor who would've thought that a classic enemy from the Mario series would become a playable fighter? I couldn't resist adding it to my collection. So this being a digital download meant there wasn't a physical unboxing experience, but the process of redeeming and downloading the Piranha Plant DLC was quick and straightforward. Within minutes, I had piranha plant ready to go on my Nintendo Switch. The instant gratification of digital purchases is always a plus! Is packed with unique moves that differentiate it from other characters in the game. Its ptooie move, where it spits out a spiked ball, and its poison breath attack provide a good mix of long range and defensive options. One of the more interesting aspects is the long stem strike, which allows for a far reaching attack, perfect for keeping opponents at bay. These moves make piranha plant a versatile fighter, though it takes a bit of practice to master its unconventional playstyle. In real game scenarios is a blast to use, especially in multiplayer battles where its quirky attacks can catch opponents off guard. I found that it performs well in both casual and competitive settings. The character's responsiveness and smooth movements were a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed experimenting with different strategies, using its poison gas and long range attacks to keep opponents on their toes. Compared to other DLC characters like Joker or Banjo Kazooie, Piranha Plant might not be the most powerful, but it certainly holds its own with its unique abilities. What sets it apart is its sheer novelty and the fun factor this character is not just for the hardcore smash players but also for anyone who wants to add a bit of whimsy to their roster. PROS: Unique and fun moveset. Quick and easy download process. Great for both casual and competitive play. CONS: Slight learning curve for mastering its unique abilities. May not appeal to those looking for a more traditional fighter. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase of the Piranha Plant DLC. It brings a fresh and fun dynamic to super smash bros ultimate, making it a great choice for players of all skill levels. If you're looking to expand your roster with a quirky and enjoyable character, I think is definitely worth considering.

Didn't think it was possible to get a whole moveset out of the Pirahna Plant, but here we are. Pretty surprised by this one, considering they're usually a simple enemy with not much goin' on in a Mario game. But they managed to flesh out an interesting enough of a moveset here.

Wish he was part of the season passes, but its pretty cheap, and he's a fun character to play!

This was a really good add on for smash bros for a really good game would be missing out if you don’t get it in my opinion

I'm glad I added this fighter to my roster of players in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Game for the Nintendo Switch. Anyone who has a history of playing a variety of Super Mario games new and retro know this enemy appears frequently in different parts of those games and levels. Why I mention this because the person(s) who thought of adding the Piranha Plant as a fighter are in my opinion have great creative minds. The movements of this fighter are humorous from the walking as well as how it launches in the air by spinning it's leaves. Personally I'm happy I purchased this fighter. Like all fighters in the game for some players it may take some time getting to know this fighter and how to use it to your advantage in a battle. I recommend this fighter to others and I give it 5 STARS.

A funny character to play as, but surprisingly decent. Every fighting game has that unexpected threat, like Centrion from Mortal Kombat, or Dan from Street Fighter, and Piranha Plant is of the same ilk. Even better is that he can fly.

When Piranha Plant was revealed to be playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it was very surprising! It's unexpected, but the Piranha Plant makes a great addition to the already large Smash Bros. roster. I actually had fun playing this character! It has its very unique move set that makes it stand out from other characters in the game. Of course, everybody will have their own preferences of who's their favorite character to play in Smash Bros. Looking forward to see more new characters coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!

Great little character. It's my 6 year old favorite

Piranha plant might not be a popular character but it packs a hidden punch. Unlike my normal practice of consuming plants (both in solid and smoke form), this plant will consume YOU; or at least, hopefully, your enemies. Josh Fritz has never been close to a vegetarian but he does have a soft spot for Piranha Plant.

This is a great character, and I highly recommend it. Although you must make a little research on its move set to know if it’s really for you.

this is an add-on so i cant use it I don't have the game. but I'm going to try for a refund. bummer.

I wish I got this when the free promotion came out but when I played my friends’ this character became my favorite to use.

We had to buy the Piranha Plant to complete our rooster. We love Super Smash!
