This sub replaced a dual sub setup. I am very happy with my purchase!! Nice, clean powerful bass! Eventually, I will purchase another SB16 Ultra to run a dual sub setup!

Make no mistake, SVS Ultra subwoofers are high priced, but they are worth every penny. The performance between movies and music is simply breathtaking. I pay for clean, tight bass and that is exactly what the SB16-Ultra delivers. The fact that you have options to the settings via remote, App or front panel is just crazy. I started with 1 and was so impressed that I ordered a 2nd for a dual setup. If you are in the market for a subwoofer that will amaze you with performance, don't hesitate to look at the SB16-Ultra, you'll be more than satisfied.

I’ve had a Velodyne FSR 15 and a Sunfire Signature. This one surpasses both of those in not only visceral impact but more importantly, detail. This sub will resolve more of your music and movies then you thought was there. But, it is a gentleman; it will not speak when there is nothing to say. It will not make bad recordings sound good; they will sound as recorded: bad. Good recordings, however will sound amazing. Be prepared to pull out all your favorite music and play it again, for the first time. And movies.... well it will rock your world. In my modest 2200 cubic foot living room, it ripples through the floor with thunderous impact. When ever I demo this thing with an action movie friends and family just laugh at the ridiculous detail and slam this thing delivers. Oh and it’s durable. It will shut off before any damage happens when driven to extremes. I know; I’ve done it. This thing is bulletproof. The SVS support team is just icing on the cake. These guys are just as crazy about audio gear as you are. Just buy it now and beg for forgiveness later.

So before i got this unit of a subwoofer I had a Rel T9X. Don’t get me wrong it was a beatiful sub but this SVS Sb16-Ultra is game changing. After a long 6 months of contemplating on to buy this mammoth or not I can say it was worth every penny I spent. How low this beauty can go is just jaw dropping and music to my ears literally. I hope SVS sees some of theres reviews and I can just say I 100% stand behimd your products and will be a lifetime customer while my HIFI journey continues:)

Here's the revised text: "It has an excellent subwoofer, but it's pricey. The bass is punchy, not boomy. I am very pleased with this purchase, and the Bluetooth phone app makes adjusting the settings a breeze. I put the speaker in the corner because this monster wouldn't fit under my huge entertainment center! I definitely love this thing. You certainly can't turn up the volume all the way for normal use. SVS customer service is the best."

Lots of controls with this subwoofer. I sure that I don’t have it setup perfect. This is a great addition to my home theater. It seems to make my old speakers come to life

let's set aside how incredible this sounds, Let's not mention how the bass hits you yet the booms are so smooth going in and out of the thump. Not going to bring up how beautiful the piano finish is or have its presence has people asking whaaaaaaa. The only thing that impressed me... Bluetooth connected app to control how this masterpiece can be fine tuned to make the audiophile in me giddy like i was a kid with my first walkman

It's just...... PERFECT. I bought this to replace a 20 year old JBL s120II. OMG, what a difference. I have a Denon X4200W with Martin Logan Motion 60's for the L & R and a Motion 50 for the center and it REALLY matches well with them. No need to look at the Dynamo 1100 or the 1600 if this option is available. If a demo model at the Magnolia is available..... TAKE IT!!! The SVS app is iffy

Just received this item and it definitely exceeds my expectations. I did buy the isolation feet to elevate the sub off the floor and it makes a huge difference. The SVB app allows you to make easy adjustments to fine tune the base with your other speakers. Salesman "Mike" and the geek squad made the sales experience as easy as possible.

I bought the SVS SB16 to fill up my family room which has 18 ft. Ceilings and open to the kitchen...over 6000 cuft. This sub is wonderful at high or low volumes and impresses me with music and movies! The app is icing on the cake. Totally pleased with my purchase!

One of the best subs out there hands down! Even when compared with 2 to 3 times more expensive subs, this thing is a beast. Got the second one installed and now i have perfectly balanced bass! Make sure you place it in a right spot for best outcome.

Low frequency is not deep enough. I suggest PB16 for movies, which is too big for my room. No EQ on this sub, a good receiver with calibration function is needed for best result. Power cord is too short for this size of sub, need to move my surge protector. Anyway, for $2000, this sub will not disappoint you.

Never underestimate the capability of dual 16", 1500 watt subwoofers. Once you get these dialed in and some play time to break them in they are amazing.

SVS has the Best costumer service and warranty ever. Plus sound of this subwoofer is incredible. SVS very highly recommended.
