    purchased online and picked up at store. I thought I was buying a new Swagtron T3 for my daughter for Christmas. brought home and wrapped for Christmas morning. Imagine how disappointed my daughter was that the Swagtron was used and broken. It was like someone returned it broken and Best Buy restocked it. Had to reorder a new one from Best Buy because I had a gift card. Now we have to wait at least a week to get a new one.

    My grandson cracked it the first day . The metal frame cracked first time he bumped into something. Thank you Best Buy for trading it. The cheaper plastic model we traded for seems to be much more durable.

    Returned the first one due to cracks in the plastic fenders. Received the replacement today. Removed it from the box and this one is cracked worse than the first one!! Will be returning this one.

    My son had this for only a few minutes and when he got on to ride it it cracked. Absolutely will not buy another for this price. Not worth it.

    STOPPED WORKING AFTER 3 WEEKS!!

    I am so furious right now! After only 3 weeks of receiving our Swagtron T3 ($528 after taxes), it was unable to turn on. My son took excellent care of it, followed all operating/maintenance/charing instructions to a T and he only used it in the house. I was so upset that such as expensive unit broke so soon and for no apparent reason. We called Swagway tech support and they told us we had to fill out an RMA online and send it to them to get fixed. Since we purchased it through Best Buy, Swagway refused to send us a prepaid shipping label and said we had to pay to ship it to them. We asked to speak to a manager or anyone that could assist us further but they said emailing [email protected] was the only option which we did but they also denied my request for a prepaid shipping label. We were helpless and had to pay $52 ($46+$6 insurance) to send it back. 2 weeks later, we just received it back (Video below). We charged it and turned it on. My son immediately noticed that although the power turned on, the blue power lights showing charging status, were not lit up correctly. And then we noticed that the red and green lights were not lighting up in the front and back but instead one amber light. Also the bluetooth isn't connecting. It came back with more problems then we sent it with! I called tech support again and with no compassion or understanding they simply said fill out an RMA and pay to return it again!! I asked again to speak to a manager so that I can simply get a new stable and reliable unit even if it isn't the T3 or to be reimbursed for the product because obviously this new T3 model has a lot of issues. She (her name is Jasmine) said there was no manager there and that she was a supervisor but could not do anything. She said I should again email tech support and write attention SUSAN which is the manager there. I am doing that now but I have a feeling that I will receive the same response I have been. This has been a horrible experience for my son and I. My son wasn't able to enjoy his Swagtron for even a month and now having to possibly spend another $52 making the total for shipping $104 and add on the $528 I spent on the unit, this is just infuriating.

    ARRIVED AND LOVED THE NEW DESIGN

    The product arrived 3 days earlier than expected which is always nice. I like the ability to track the package online this is handled very well with Best Buy. T3 Hoverboard came charged upon opening so I could use it right away. The bluetooth setup in seconds not like some of the older bluetooth where you have to keep re-connecting. The unit looked incredible very nice finish. Speakers are loud and the riding seemed more stable than the T1 version that I had prior. Overall I am very happy with this product and like the upgrades from the T1 to the T3. Nice job

    Purchased this for my son after we decided to return his first one due to the safety risks. This was a lot more than we spent on the first one but I feel like it was worth every penny. The upgrades are great! Blue tooth speaker is loud and it tells you the battery life among other things.

    I got this for Christmas it was amazing it rides smooth has great speakers can go 12mlph t Bluetooth connects right away foot pads are great there is nothing bad about this expect the battery life is not long but great hoverbored

    Buy a different brand!

    This was the hit of Christmas... Until the next day when it wouldn't move (fully charged). We tried to call customer service, were directed to the Swagtron website. No help there. We looked online, checked YouTube, attempted to recalibrate it... No success. Best Buy is amazing with their warranties products and ordered a replacement which arrived in 2 days. The replacement lasted a day and a half before the same thing happened. Prior to Christmas this thing had good reviews. Now, I'm seeing tons of complaints for the same problem we have experienced. Look at the product reviews on Amazon too... It's awful! Maybe they tried to produce them quickly to meet the holiday demand? If so they failed miserably. Fortunately for me, Best Buy will refund the full purchase price so I can look for a better rated product. I always buy the Best Buy warranty rather than rely on the manufacturer... It's been worth every penny for many products over the years and has once again saved me over $500!

    This hoverboard is amazing! Dont like how it has so much technology involved with the hoverboard but, once you learn how to operate it it's really the coolest thing you can get. And it won't get badly scratched because of the different modes which I love and the app that comes with it.

    Look, if this thing worked for more than two days, I'd actually give it 4 stars. Unfortunately, there is 100%, no doubt, a manufacture defect with the version sold since the beginning of December. I know that there are some lucky people out there that haven't had issues, and if I was one of them, I may have even given this 5 stars. BUT the first one we bought barely bumped into a curb on the street and cracked the casing. Honestly, no biggie. Our fault for hitting a curb. Then, two days later, all the green lights came on and it wouldn't function. We tried the only option available, holding the power button for 10 seconds which recalibrates it. Nothing. Luckily I am Best Buy Elite so I returned it to the store for another. I was thinking the same thing you are. Maybe since we bumped it into a curb it jarred something loose. The new one was great, FOR 24 HOURS. Then the exact same thing happened. All the green lights came on and it wouldn't work. This time I decided to call Swagtron since in my mind there is no way the same thing could happen twice that fast. After waiting 45 minutes for a customer service representative to pick up, I explained the issue. She literally told me," yes, that's the same problem I have been told about on every other phone call for the past two weeks. There's nothing we can do and you'll have to go online, get an RMA, and send it back to us to get fixed". They also wanted me to pay the shipping!! No thanks. This thing is obviously a piece of junk. I returned it to Best Buy and ordered the Halo Hoverboard. Hopefully I'll have better luck!!

    Poor safety + then it stopped working - twice

    I need to give this one star because I drove across town to purchase actually on xmas eve, great fun gift it seemed, but the unit whips around and causes injury when you try to step off slamming the user - fine, my daughter talked me into keeping it anyway - then a few days later it just died - I brought it back to Bestbuy and re-purchased a pink one, no stock for pink, it arrived & seemed more stable at first then had the exact same issue (ouch), after 8 days use then stopped working... The Swagway balance software is poorly written, it has safety issues hurting 2 family members.. Expect too few uses out of your $500 investment before it dies - piece of junk.. Bestbuy should stop carrying this item until the qualify and safety issues are corrected.

    Buyer beware!

    I did lots of research and read lots of reviews before choosing to purchase this brand. It was awesome for the TWO days it lasted. After that it would not turn on. It seems to be a widespread issue since Christmas. I have visited multiple websites selling this same hoverboard and even the Manufacturer's facebook page. After everything I read - bad reviews, people having issues with the company, etc. I decided it wasn't worth my time trying to fix or replace this hoberboard. Luckily, Best Buy took it back with NO questions asked. I did not purchase any extended warranty but did return it within the return/refund policy timeframe.
