Power Malfunction

We gave this to my son for his birthday. He plugged it in this morning and when we got home the house smelled like something was on fire. Of course this scared us, but we finally saw where the smell was coming from. The battery case had cracked the frame of the hover board as well as the battery itself. It leaked out some sort of liquid not acid which permeated our entire house 3500 ft.². I plan on taking this back to Best Buy tomorrow, but really I am thankful that it didn’t catch fire and kill our pets and destroy all of our belongings.

Awful battery life - Don't Waste Your Money!

Do not buy!

My child is 49 pounds so it wasn't for too much weight. We had to put it in the garage to cool down. When we brought it back in one wheel seemed "locked". I will be returning it for an upgrade.
