It worked perfectly fine for the first couple weeks after that it just stopped working we have to mess around with. kind a move the cable around and for some reason it just does that every now and then. the cameras would appear on your screen and then sometimes go off for a bit I don’t know why .

Works Fine 5MP Addition with Bonus Splicer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am perfectly happy with this cable, even though it is just a cable. This is a 100 ft Swann two wire cable (not the lower grade single cable offered by others), and same style as the original 60 ft cables that came with my system. I needed an extra 40 feet to reach the garage, and this worked perfectly, plus was in stock at my local store for immediate pickup. As a bonus, the cable includes a spare splicer that I was able to use to connect two of the original 60 ft cables together, to make a 120 ft cable. This splicer saved me having to buy another 100 ft cable. The single wire cables sold by others might be cheaper, but I read where having the power intertwined in the same side as the video can cause interference, so felt with my higher resolution 5MP system, it was worth the extra $10 to buy this Swann cable to avoid the problem. The result is for the 100-120 ft, there is no interference nor dropouts. The cable color is more beige, than the original white cables.
