    This product has pretty good picture. It’s pretty easy to use as well. I bought them for outdoor use. I noticed that they don’t always record when there is movement

      We are sorry to hear about the motion issues with the Swann unit. We recommend speaking with our technical support team for further assistance. You may need to adjust the motion sensitivity on the cameras. This may be the reason why the cameras and DVR do not recognize motion all the time. Swann

    Brought this on sale from Best Buy ha day down one of the best 1080p camera, Deanna is way better then Lorex.

    Great cameras. Poor wiring.

    Not even a year has passed and the wiring its already malfunctioning. I keep on getting video loss and some of the images are black and white. Installed them indoors in a house. I have extra cables thats why I know that the cameras are fine.

    Originally bought to upgrade system and to increase amount of camera....gear resolution with continuous monitoring but slow response pulling up cameras using Swann app....no clear instructions for video playback

    After going through 3 separate DVR's trying to find one that worked without an error I finally got one. In retrospect I should have returned the defective product to the store the first time it gave me trouble. But I chose the other road. After I installed the 3rd DVR it got another HDD error and I was about to trash the entire project. It was so coincidental that the next day a firmware update came out. It rebooted and hasn't had a problem since. I'll never know if it was a firmware issue with the DVR, or if it magically corrected its own problem all on its own. But its been working for 2 months or so trouble free now.

    complete garbage. December 2020 will be 1 year since buying this, as its only November my system is completely shot. after 6 months one of my cameras died, after reading the horror stories about people trying to do warranty claims with swann i figured there was no point. 2 days ago i purchased another replacement camera versus dealing with swann, after mounting the camera, re running the cable and hooking up i had 1 more camera go out, then as of tonight 11/24/20 i had 5 working and 5 dead and now the dvr just completely stopped working and stopped transmitting signal. not to mention the app stopped working about 8 months ago and that was garbage to start. do your self a favor, do not buy swann, there are so many camera manufacturers out there and every one of them are better. if you buy this you will realize real fast how much money you just thre away.
