I had to return this 16 camera system because of one faulty bullet camera, 2nd time around everything worked great... 4k clarity is amazing, system has tons of features. Worth the money!

The quality of the picture is bad if anything moves faster than a sloth, it has good detail only when something is stationary for longer than 5 seconds. The internal HDD gave out after 6 months so no video recording and never heard back about a replacement. One of the fans is so noisy that I had to unplug it to keep me from going crazy. The app isn't bad but could be better, even on great wifi it still takes a minute to load up even 3 of the cameras. For $1900, when I bought it, I could have bought 8 of the Arlo Ultra and stuck with what I already had. Better picture and 30 days of records. If i could return this for a refund I would do it in a heartbeat.

Now you get the quick version: None of the eight camera speakers work and now two cameras have completely failed after three weeks. The software is incomplete and so is documentation. Swann support is next to useless. I don't think even they have complete documentation, The captured images and sounds are good.

functions well but no comprehensive user manual!

Geek Squad doesn't explain all the functions after the setup. If you think you will find a good comprehensive user manual or videos on line, you will be disappointed. The camera quality seems to be sufficient. You can record video and tone. You can also use the speakers to communicate. Set up is a little bit complex. Unfortunately, you cannot purchase an extended protection plan from Best Buy with this system.

Great camera setup with tons of features

Movement is captured way smoother than the conventional DVR style systems as well. Facial recognition and a few of the other features are admittedly complicated to set up correctly, but it can be done relatively easily if you watch a couple how-to videos.

Would not recommend anyone to purchase this. Horrible app. Horrible resolution. No customer service to address issues. Buy something else. Not worth the 4 digit price tag when you can purchase another better system elsewhere. Best Buy should stop selling swann products.
