Good system but the night vision isn’t the best, but for the price you can’t beat it

I bought this system to replace a 4 camera Swann system that I previously had. Only reason for upgrade was for more cameras. I was able to reuse my original wires for the new cameras, which helped reduce my labor running wires for the other 4 cameras. This system works flawless, I am able to view my cameras remotely from anywhere from my phone which is nice when you are away from home. Plenty of hard drive space to record weeks of video before overwriting. Not too hard to set up, I am kinda of technology challenged at times. When setting up on phone with the app, I had to type in the security code, as it would not take a picture of the code box to set it up automatically. For the price of other systems, I feel this is a great system for anyone who needs the added comfort of being able to monitor their property/home.

Perfect. Good. Has 8 cameras. Length of cable is enough. Would recommend it.

Very easy to use. Love the color during the day and at night it will record in black and white but you can definitely tell who the person is at night. You wont be able to have a very clear image of license plates at night only during the daytime form a very far distance. You can add an outdoor light next to the camera and leave it on at night if you want to catch license plates at night, this will make the camera record in color. You can set each camera in different settings, and you may even select if you want them to record on motion or all the time. It has this alarm that will go off if you want to have it one when it detects movement. Great price for good home surveillance system.

cameras and recorder were good but i just didn't like the software and remote capabilities enough to keep this item.

Used it about 2 months, and it works good. Especially helped me to catch a "dirty hand".

This was a pretty good camera system. The main unit was quiet, even with the little fan in it. The caremas gave a decent wide angle view with minimal fisheye effect when placed close to a ceiling. The motion sensing was great and picked up the smallest movements in the areas I designated. Remote view was okay but had no audio even with an audio input set up. I liked that all connected cameras showed up when first opening the remote view software even if it was a bit slow to load, afterwhich switching between cameras was pretty quick. I've owned this unit just under 3 years and am pretty upset that the mainboard died so quickly. Even with the unit being in an open, cool place the board still died before the low quality Toshiba hard drive did. I like the Swann units but am pretty sure I'm going to go with another brand for the next security camera system I get.

Very easy to setup. Only complaint is the cords to the cameras could of been longer

good cameras, good quality, this product is highly recommended for monitoring the home, the only drawback is the app to see from your phone or any mobile device has years of delay.

Feeling a little more safer, less worrying about my kids, checking in on my house while I'm away, great video quality, and DVR. I love it. I want to add a few more cameras.

Good cameras with excellent daylight resolution. Resolution at night is significantly reduced, but expected. Not disappointed at all.

Very easy to install and set up, also very clear footage both day and night. Couldn't have asked for a better set up for the price.

I pick up this system for my home , it was pretty simple to set after you get all the wiring done and it looks and works great.
