Heat & People detect function not a capability

The True Detect for heat, people and motion does not work on the wired Swann products. I paid for the Unlimited plan and during the trial realized none of the features had been added to the app. So I contacted customer support and the gentleman quickly identified the issue because "this gets a lot of people". These features were an important selling point, so this is annoying. The Swann app allows you to view real time what is going on, but not see what any of the motion alerts were for. You can not setup active areas to reduce false alarms. The cameras have been set up for over a month now. The images are decent, and it is easy to setup. Just wish they had accurately described the capabilities.

The network setup to your phone can be somewhat challenging

Video quality is great, instructions and manuals are a bit lacking, but online support is better, just takes longer to find the information you're looking for. Overa very happy, wish I'd gotten the 8 camera system to start with!

I only have one issue with one camera and Swann is unable to resolve it I do not want to completely uninstall the whole system for one camera.

Terrible 4K quality

The first unit I bought then returned was made by Lorex but a better quality picture at 1080p. The downside was the cameras were not weatherproof. An LG 4K monitor was also purchased. DEFIANTLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

The camera has 3 different settings for streaming quality; low, medium, and high. If you are having problems streaming you can lower the settings and test to see if it improves. Note that lowering the stream settings does not affect the quality of the recordings. If you have very fast upload speeds you can set your camera to high, but if your upload speed is not that good then we recommend you use medium or low for the streaming setting.
