No product support

I contacted a support team member after about 30 minutes of waiting, who could not answer a single question. He finally bailed out by sending me an unhelpful video link that i had already seen on youtube. The app only loads about 70 percent of the time.

The camera has 3 different settings for streaming quality; low, medium, and high. If you are having problems streaming you can lower the settings and test to see if it improves. Note that lowering the stream settings does not affect the quality of the recordings. If you have very fast upload speeds you can set your camera to high, but if your upload speed is not that good then we recommend you use medium or low for the streaming setting. High price, low quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not an expert and my expectations might have been a little too high, but this system is not even "good" in my opinion. The resolution for a 4K system is atrocious. The FPS is set at 7 FPS and cannot be adjusted per Swann customer service. The cameras did not automatically go into night mode (night vision), and once in night mode, would not switch back to normal daytime mode (color mode). Resolution and bitrate is not adjustable, even though through settings you can change them and "apply" the changes, just for them to revert back to the default settings later on. A Video playback is choppy and blurry in day and night mode. The first night I had it connected, there was an animal in my driveway less than 10 feet from where the camera was mounted. It eventually scurried away and I could not tell whether it was a big rat, squirrel, rabbit, or a cat because the video quality was so poor (recording at "4k resolution). Also only one camera at a time can be set to monitor movement via perimeter intrusion and heat detection. Meaning if you hook up 4 cameras, only one camera is capable of that feature. That was also confirmed via Swann customer support. Will be returning for a different system.
