One of the cameras worked for 30 minutes and had been offline ever since. I took a week installing the cameras and after that best buy said that you can pack everything back in the box and bring it back. Which really is not an option once you install all the wires through the addict. Then when you call Swann they want you to do a bunch of random checks that take over an full hour on the phone to perform before they finally acknowledged that the camera doesn't work. And I still have a camera that doesn't work. Don't buy.

After running cables and having the cameras setup and set to "record" I now look to backing up my recordings. But even before that I see the first red flag - even though I set the cameras to Eastern time they are stuck an hour off. Attempts to login with my PC fail, attempts to login on my mobile are fine. I can stream to my mobile. Unfortunately I want to backup recordings to my PC as well as view on my PC not just my cell phone. Finally, there is only one USB insert plug on the NVR - for the mouse. How am I supposed to backup outside of the network with one USB plug?

True Detech Technology will use heat and motion to create a more accurate trigger. The hear detection settings can not be configured. The app has 3 different settings for streaming quality; low, medium and high. If you are having problems streaming you can lower the settings and test to see if it improves. Note that lowering the stream settings does not affect the quality of the recordings. If you have very fast upload speeds you can set your camera to high, but if your upload speed is not that good then we recommend you use medium or low for the streaming setting. Click on the blue box on the bottom right-hand corner to live chat with a technical support agent or contact us over the phone.
