Broke HDD reciever brand new

After its all set up the HDD receiver started freezing. Spent hours trouble shooting it. I called the manufacturer and they determined it was faulty after an hour on the phone with them doing the same things i had already done. So i had to pay to send it out to Swann, and i guess theyll send me a new HDD receiver, but the email i got was alittle confusing on the matter. I should of just returned it. Spending almost 400 on something thats broke and now i cant use it until i get it back. Which will prolly take a month in total. This is not Best Buys fault.

Easy to install and the camera image is very good. Ive had no issues at all with them and 2 are in high weather areas. The price is very good for cameras like these.

Paid full price for something someone else used and broke. Had to spend hours on the phone and reading the manual to figure out how to erase the previous pass word and data. Help line was a joke he knew less than my wife. I only gave two stars because it does now work. Was also pictured with 8 cameras and only came with 6. We buy a lot of products from Best Buy. But must say was very disappointed with this one

Took it back to Best Buy to get a refund and I had even purchased the warranty when I bought it ! I did everything right. They refused to refund my money !! Best Buy Demanded I have store credit only!! I discourage anybody from dealing with them or this product!!!

PIR sensors work optimally when the camera is mounted around looking down somewhat and the subject of detection passes across their front. The more the object must "cross" the front of the camera the better the detection reliability. When placing your camera try to avoid situations where the subject would move straight toward the camera if possible. You may need to experiment with the sensitivity settings in the app and camera placement to get the ideal mix of detection
