Always a big fan of Swann products. I already have owned a couple of Swann surveillance systems and have been really happy with them. The Swann Pro Enforcer 8-Channel 4-bullet 4K surveillance system is definitely the most advanced system that I have owned so far. Setting up security cameras is always the hardest part. Especially with the wiring and whatnot. However, if you want that reliability, then it really is the way to go. Swann does help alot with the process by having a great guide. Admittedly, when setting up Swann systems, you have to use the on-screen keyboard which can be annoying to type with. You cannot use a physical keyboard at all. Believe me, I have tried. Once you have set everything up, it should be smooth sailing! Now for the quality and features. 4K is awesome. Image quality is great. However, what you should be aware of is that the 4K videos are capped at 15 fps. This goes up slightly to 20 fps when you decrease the resolution to 1080p but still fairly slow. This can make images fairly choppy and I did find it a bit disappointing especially when compared to the image quality. In regards to its other features, it really is packed with all the deterrents you need. It has heat and motion sensors! This can activate the red and blue flashing lights and sirens. It can trigger awhite spot light. It also has a microphone and speaker so you can have two-way talk. At night, it has night vision which works incredibly well. You can control all of this from the Swann Security app. It does require registering and creating an account, although you can use one account for all of your Swann systems. All in all, I am a big fan. It gives you peace of mind. You can make sure your family is protected even when you are not around. I would keep the Swann Pro Enforcer on your short list of surveillance systems.

Swann Pro enforcer is a good start for self monitoring security. It comes packed with everything you need to get started (4 high quality cameras, hard drive, cables, room for expansion). Just know that if you are getting this for self installation, it is very tedious and can be difficult to run the cables if you are trying to keep the wires hidden. But that is the extent of difficulty with a system like this which for some could be a level 4-5 on 5 being the hardest. Once the cables are run to your liking, it is simple as plug and play and following the instructions and prompts. I connected my system to a 120hz 4k monitor and was able to connect the system directly to my network with ease. Setup my account and adjusted a few settings of the many that are available. I just went with a basic and recommended setup to get started to view my cameras and the picture quality is amazingly clear. Much better than the grainy security feeds that we see from convenience stores or criminal tv. I was truly impressed with the quality and detail of the images on my screen. The cameras themselves have two sets of leds (white motion sensor led, and police red/blue deterrent leds). I like the motion sensor led as it gets your attention and alerts you that you are being monitored. I tried out the deterrent lights but I cant see myself actually using them. When activated they flash red/blue/white with a very noticeable siren. There is too much motion where I setup my cameras to use this function without being a nuisance to my neighbors. There are a ton of options to fine tune the sensitivity, area, and create different zones of monitoring, but its going to take some time to get it perfect to use all the features packed into this system. The white led motion sensor is fairly bright but its not going to illuminate the area enough to see everything, more of a warning/alert light. The hard drive is nice that it can send push alerts via email or the swann mobile app, but once again, until the system is fine tuned it will send constant alerts for motion detection. You also have the ability to use dropbox to get video clips for sharing with local authorities in case of an event, or just save for another time. If you dont like or have dropbox account, there is the option to plug in a usb thumb drive or external drive to download videos and play on the computer. The hard drive has ample amount of space for video recording and in time I believe it will just overwrite and continue recording if you run out of storage. This is a great feature and the recording is self contained which means "free" video monitoring/recording. The swann mobile app is a great feature allowing you to live view your cameras and also view recorded footage. Most times the app works great but it can be a little buggy at times. Viewing recorded footage via the app is a little confusing as it only playsback in small few minute clips. I may have to play with the settings a little more and find out if there is a way to change the playback time or recording setting. Overall, Swann has produced a really good security monitoring system for the home owner and small business owner that is self contained and capable of providing crystal clear video footage at a reasonable price.

I did replace an existing older Swann system, so all the holes where already drilled. This system is by far the best system I have used from Swann. You can even record at lower resolution if needed. The video recorder can be hooked up to any monitor that has a HDMI input. I have mine hooked to the 4K television and can pop over to that HDMI input any time to see the cameras. This system is also sold with up to 16 cameras. I would recommend this system to friends and family.

The Swann Pro Enforcer NVR system is a big upgrade from the last Swann system I used. The POE cameras included with the Pro Enforcer system are much easier to set up and produce much better quality images at night than the analog versions in lower end systems. The video quality is comparable to a competitor system I have been using recently. In the way that most people will use this system (set it up and forget it until an emergency happens), I think this will do a great job for the price. The POE cameras also enable some features that their analog cousins could not, such as face detection and two way audio. Where Swann takes a step back from some other brands I've used is the Swann Security app. The basic functions all work as expected, but it's not quite as responsive as some others that I've used, and overall just feels a little out of date. I did use the system with my Google Home assistant devices and it works pretty well for casting video to your chromecast. Overall this system is a good value, but not quite perfect, so keep it in mind when shopping for a security system with great video quality but only "good enough" mobile app support.

Exceptionally sharp picture! This is the first 2k POE system I've tried and definitely not disappointed! Picture is extremely sharp and no issues with me living in an area where there's a lot of WiFi activity. To add to all the neighbors having WiFi, I have a mesh WiFi system in my house so there are conflicts any time I set up wireless cameras - POE is the next logical step, and better yet, no need to have power outlets for each camera. Night vision is excellent as well, and even though you wouldn't think the LED light from each camera would help much, it definitely does at night . Definitely a camera system worth your time and money - Swann is quickly becoming my go-to brand!

I initially planned to set this up outside, but when I did so, I wasn't too impressed with the quality . for a 4K system I expect immaculate detail where I can see things crisply even in the dark, and I expect pure clarity with the sun out. But for me this wasn't the case. So then I switched to having them as indoor cameras. And personally for indoor I don't need something super amazing (which I wish this was) because if someone got inside already that shouldn't be, it's already too late. This is more of just letting me know someone is inside if I'm not home, to which I can call someone. We also have sensors at every entrance so these cameras provide extra security. Aesthetically they are really nice I'll give them that. And 2TB of storage is super sufficient, more than enough. I also appreciate the color night vision because other products have it as black and white at night unless there's a light source that activates color. I think personally that the price is too high MSRP for what it offers, but overall it's a solid product if you can get it discounted.

Swann - Pro Enforcer 8-Channel, 4-Bullet Camera Indoor/Outdoor PoE Wired 4K UHD 2TB HDD NVR Security Surveillance System is superb. The resolution on these in 4k is beautiful. And with an audible motion alert, it further deters intruders. The thermal detection blew me away. The system is also compatible with Amazon Alexa. The setup was simple, so you can get it going right out of the box. The system included four cameras will be getting four more. Keep your family and belonging safe. I love that it can tell the difference between humans and wildlife.

I enjoy tech. I already wired my house for ethernet, so I had quite a head-start on this one, and I'll give you a whole bunch of feedback on its connectivity. It comes with four super long (60 foot!) cables, which would make installation convenient, but beware! Those are not ethernet cables, so don't expect to use them for your other network devices! There's only four wires in those cables. However, you can use normal ethernet cables just fine. Another cool networking feature -- the NVR can find cameras that are connected through your network and not directly into the NVR. Although -- the box has 8 POE ports on it, so I'd connect the cameras directly. Like my other experience with Swann systems, the app works very well, it allows you to toggle between different NVRs, and the video playback comes up pretty quickly. On the other hand, the web app isn't awesome. It works great, but only works in older browsers. I have to use Internet Explorer to be able to access it from my computer. Setup was pretty easy, but I really wish I could use a physical keyboard on the console. That would make it much easier to use complex passwords. You have to enter the password using the mouse on a virtual keyboard. You also have to have a TV available to use it. I tried to connect to a computer monitor and it just won't resolve the picture. Other than that -- it has lots of powerful configuration options, including alerts, identifying people and cars, and you can select the active monitoring areas within the image. You can also schedule the recording so you can reduce your disk usage by just keeping the times you want to see.

The picture quality is what you would expect from 4k, clear details even when enlarging the image. The quality of the cameras seems pretty resilient to the harsh climate in the Midwest. The app worked well but i wish it was a bit more intuitive making it easier to navigate. The install was moderately simple, not easy but not difficult as well but that depends on you setup. Overall they have not lagged or given me false alerts based on movement not caused by actual people stepping past the boundary alert. The flashing lights are ok but it's not a big sell for me. A great system. Overall great system for the price.

Swann is one of the names that has been around a long time in the security camera game & so they are a name you can most definitely trust. We have a couple of Swann systems as well as a few different competitor systems that we have installed still & that we have tried out previously. We recently had a chance to try a competitor's 4K POE system that is similar to the Swann 4K system here but I must say the Swann system is actually a lot nicer and just sleeker. The setup was a breeze and I was even able to hook up the cameras and have them going in no time. I like the addition of the blue and red lights on the cameras. Especially since we have a porch pirate out in my area stealing packages. They made off with a new set of bed sheets I'd ordered from the online retailer that is located in the rainforest. Luckily I had enough evidence to prove, if needed, that I needed it replaced & they did it for free which was nice. This system picked it up clear as day and I'm beyond happy about that. I'd post the images here but I'm letting the authorities sort it out. Hopefully my system helps them catch him. I know the police officer I filled the criminal complaint with stated the system was some of the clearest images he'd ever seen. And those images were from right when the sun was starting to set at the time. So I am over the moon really based on the quality and ease of use. If you have a current camera system that is 1080p should you upgrade? If it were up to me, I would for sure. I am really happy to have replaced a few 1080p cameras with these 4K ones and would do it over again if I had to. Definitely worth it if you are in the market for a new system or evcen an upgrade!

Home security is a top priority due to my residential area. When we first moved into our home, I immediately installed an HD home surveillance system (1080p). This is old technology now and most of the name brand surveillance systems have moved in to 4K. Not only that, but they have become more affordable, which is great. My old system was still going strong, but it was time to upgrade. I got my hands on the Swann - Pro Enforcer 8-Channel system and am really happy with the quality of the system and video quality as well. Something that I really like about the Swann - Pro Enforcer 8-Channel system is that the cameras only require an Ethernet cable to each camera, as opposed to a multi wire connection. This made it so much easier to install the system. The setup was a breeze. The video quality is SO MUCH better! The added security lights are a big plus to scare potential intruders away. Not only that, the system has a built in sheen to really get them startled. I don’t regret the upgrade to the Swann - Pro Enforcer 8-Channel systems and would highly recommend it.

The cameras are decent, but I feel that for being 4k, they could be much better. The features of the flashing lights are cool. Seems like it would be a good deterrent. The dvr is pretty good. It's simple setup and hooks up to my tv via hdmi with no issues. I like that I can watch it on my tv and not have to buy a separate monitor to use it. The app is pretty cool. It gives me access to the entire system from my phone. That's a good thing in my book. Overall, a decent little system, but could use a few improvements.

I want to purchase this Swann system but it is sold out. How the heck can I put this on a wish list so when Best Buy gets it into stock again, they could send me a notice so I can buy it.
