I love it!!!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the Nintendo switch. It came with the white joy con which you can use for one or two players. It has great graphics on the handheld mode. When you hook it up to the tv it goes into the cradle and just kind of rests there. Graphics are great. There are a lot of free games but it’s worth it to upgrade to the online paid version so you get access to more games and can play with friends as well. We bought another set of joy cons in gray for more players and also bought another holder since it only came with one. We got a case so we can carry everything on the go for easy transport and to protect everything. The games are fun especially the nostalgic ones. It’s a great system and is really easy to use. Fun for the whole family!! I love it!!!!!!

BEST DECISON
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First thing first, best decison I've made. Already played tons lf hours on Mario Kart and Odyssey, compared to the original switch the screen is way sharper and brighter thanks to the OLED, battery life is great. Ran Red dead redemption better than i thought, no5 lag or noticeable frame drops. Great for everyone couldn't recommend more!

Beautiful screen display
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing looking screen display the oled is beautiful, it makes every game even more enjoyable since I mostly use it on handheld mode. It comes with 64gb of internal storage just in case you happen to decide not to get an SD card right away. Also it now has a better kick stand much larger/better stability then the previous version. The battery life is also really good, I use to own the first switch and comparing this one to the original it is worth upgrading the quality build is really good.It is more metal compared to before that it was more plastic,it has more improvements making it worth getting this version or upgrading from a previous non oled version.

Fun on the go
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch OLED model is a fantastic upgrade from the original. The 7-inch OLED screen is the standout feature — the colors are much more vibrant, and everything looks sharper and more immersive, especially in handheld mode. It really makes a difference in games like Zelda, Mario Kart, and Metroid. The build quality feels slightly more premium, and the improved kickstand is a huge improvement — way more stable and adjustable. The audio is noticeably better too, louder and clearer than the original model. Storage has been bumped up to 64GB, which helps, though I still recommend a microSD card if you download a lot of games. The Joy-Cons feel the same as the original, and they work great — though I still wish Nintendo would fully resolve the drift issue. Overall, if you play a lot in handheld or tabletop mode, the OLED model is 100% worth it. It’s not just a small upgrade — it actually enhances the experience in a big way.

The best switch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got my switch at launch and this is a welcome upgrade to the base model! It’s not the most worth it if you have the second model that has a better battery life but I still think this is a great choice for anyone wanting a switch with the olded display, larger screen, better battery life, and an amazing kickstand. I definitely think this is the best version of the switch at the time of writing this!

Waiting to get switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The OLED screen looks really good definitely nicer than the original model. Battery life has been solid, and the new kickstand is actually useful. I mostly use it handheld, and it’s been a good experience overall. Not a huge game changer, but worth it if you’re upgrading from an older model.

Nintendo Switch OLED: Portable Gaming at Its Best
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Owning the Nintendo Switch OLED model has been a fun and rewarding experience. The biggest difference from the original Switch is the upgraded screen. The new OLED display is brighter, more colorful, and has much deeper contrast. Games look more vibrant and detailed, especially when playing in handheld mode. This makes the OLED model feel like a big improvement for those who enjoy portable gaming. The design of the Switch OLED also feels more polished. The larger seven-inch screen has thinner bezels, and the wider, adjustable kickstand is a huge improvement over the flimsy stand on the original model. It makes playing in tabletop mode much easier and more stable. The upgraded speakers also deliver clearer sound, which makes the gaming experience more immersive without needing headphones.

Nintendo Switch OLED
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This new OLED switch model has phenomenal graphics. The picture is crystal clear. High contrast, rich colors, smooth motion. It’s very clean looking. Would definitely recommend compared to the original switch. It has a better screen, improved speakers, and it has more internal storage space. The battery life is up to 9 hours.

Fun For Everyone!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow... My favorite console ever and I was primarily a PlayStation Kid growing up. This system really brought me back into gaming. Nintendo has so much soul, charm, creativity, and heart that goes into their titles despite being a mega corporation as its competitors. Not to mention the plethora of so many incredible indie and third party titles to play on the go. The Oled is the Ultimate version of the Switch and as someone who transitioned to being a primarily handheld gamer it is such a perfect system for me. The screen is beautiful, battery life excellent, and the library of games holds the potential for so many endless returns to your investment of $350. I could keep going but, I will leave my feelings with this: One quote could summarize my feelings for the Nintendo Switch from a very special someone who unfortunately didn’t get to see what it could be, but still yet, is very much reflected in the Switch’s success… “Video games are meant to be just one thing: Fun! Fun for everyone.” -Satoru Iwata (Nintendo’s and Gaming’s Best CEO, Rest In Peace. Your Spirit lives on!)

Upgraded Switch
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace my son’s old switch. The battery life and screen are a big upgrade from the old one. The kickstand is also a lot better and the amount of memory is much better for more games to be stored on. I also use the old microsd card for more storage. As much as my son plays it, it is still working like new all these months later. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to replace or upgrade.

Great for kids and parents
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love the Nintendo Switch OLED! I bought this for myself to play games in bed while the wife watches one of her shows. I also got it to introduce and play video games with my kids. I eventually bought myself a steam deck and gave the OLED Switch to the kiddos. They absolutely love playing pretty much any game i get for them and it has given us some memorable fun times! Dont buy one expecting to play AAA titles or visually demanding games with top graphics and controls because it just doesnt have the power to do so. You can still play some pretty demanding games but I'd rather do that on the PC, Steam Deck, or streaming them via a service like geforce now or XBOX Gamepass. Definitely buy one of you want to introduce your kids to video games and have fun playing with them. The JOYCON controllers are in fact named well because you will be conned out of a good chunk of change when you get the inevitable stick drift. I recommend gettin an extra set of joycons and doing a Hall Sensor replacement kit through Gulikit or i think ifixit has an option as well. This way you wont ever have to replace your joycons again, cause the asking price for a new one is ridiculous. Also Nintendo is horrible with shared libraries and makes it a hastle to say switch from your oled to the same game on your switch lite. This legitimately made me mad, why should i have to buy a game twice to play it on my lite when im already paying for a family plan. Other than Nintendos predatory practices its a great device. I 1000% recommend getting Best Buys warranty on it as it is one of the best warranties you can buy for the switch as well as anything you get from BB. Ive never once had an issue with getting what i need/want with a warranty from Best Buy. Shoot they replaced my 2 year old 4K 65 INCH LG CX AT 0 COST TO ME.

Such an improvement from previous model.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch OLED model is well worth getting over the previous model. The screens extra size, and brightness makes it so much easier to see, and the color vibrancy on the OLED model is amazing. Also the kick stand on the back is 100 times better than the flimsy little stand that is on the older model. I would definitely recommend getting this. That being said, it is hard to justify upgrading if you already have the older model though, due to the hefty price tag.

Far better than the nay sayers say.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not listen to these naysayers. I have the switch from the first revision, with the larger battery and more efficient processor that was released in 2019 so I'm not even coming from the original switch with the horrible battery life here. At first, I was hesitant to open the package, as I heard people mutter their bunk about this console not being worth the money. However, after opening the thing and powering it on, I was very surprised by how much better the screen was over all previous versions. To say it is beautiful, doesn't do it justice and it's bigger than the other switch displays. The other thing that I find to be extremely interesting is the fact that Nintendo solved the only other issue I had with the switch... They fixed the kickstand, so now you no longer need to set it on while you're playing SSB on the road with a friend. Now let me clarify my position here if you're somebody that plays the switch on the go, this screen is absolutely worth the price of admission. If you only play it while docked, then this isn't for you. Now if you're a parent that is on the fence between a switch OLED and the other two new consoles on the market, then consider this... There are far more exclusive games already available and worth playing for the switch, here are just a few. Super Mario Odyssey Super Smash Brothers Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild Splatoon 2 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Mario Kart Live Home Circuit Bayonetta 1 & 2 Metroid Prime Super Mario AllStars Super Mario Maker 2 Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze Pokemon Snap Super Mario 3D World Monster Hunter Generations Monster Hunter Rise These are just some of the great games worth playing on this platform and the Switch will be far easier to get this holiday season for sure. Seriously, take advantage of the trade-in offers for your old switch consoles and buy this if you can get it for retail, it is absolutely worth it.

My Nintendo Switch OLED from Best Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is particularly great for local multiplayer sessions. The enhanced audio, while subtle, also adds to the overall experience, providing clearer and richer sound. The increased internal storage (64GB) is also a welcome addition, giving me a bit more breathing room for digital downloads before I need to reach for an SD card. And while I mostly play in handheld, the new dock with its built-in Ethernet port is fantastic for ensuring a stable online connection when I do connect to my TV. Speaking of Best Buy, the purchasing experience was seamless. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and I was in and out with my new console in no time. Their return policy also gave me peace of mind, though I certainly won't be needing it for this purchase! In conclusion, if you're on the fence about upgrading your original Switch, or if you're looking to dive into the Nintendo ecosystem for the first time, the Switch OLED model is the definitive way to experience it. The stunning screen, improved build quality, and subtle but impactful enhancements make it a truly premium portable gaming machine. This was a fantastic purchase from Best Buy, and I couldn't be happier!

What the Original should have been
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A fantastic upgrade or choice for those who prefer to play in handheld mode, but practically useless to those that always play docked. The only addition that would benefit such people would be the introduction of a lan port to the dock, which should have been part of the original design. Other great welcomed modifications such as the bigger screen (or more accurately, a thinner bevel around the screen) and the vastly superior kick stand should have also been a part of the originaldesign. The only thing that may not have been possible at the time of the consoles initial release is the OLED screen, which is incredibly vivid and makes up quite a bit for the Switch's lacking power. The primary disappointment with this new addition (other than an upgrade in cpu/gpu) is that lack of a pre-installed screen protector (tempered glass). The film that is factory installed is only to prevent the screen from shattering from impact and harming the individual cleaning it up, and provides no protection from scratches. This is quite disappointing since the screen is the only reason to get this model rather than the original model that is $50 cheaper, and a pack of 3-4 tempered glass plates only costs about $10 (I am noting the price not because I think they are to expensive, but to illustrate that they are cheap enough for Nintendo to pre-install them).

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it and haven’t stopped using it since, the ability to take it with me everywhere i go and then just come home and connect it to my tv is incredible. The battery life is surprisingly good and it’s perfect for long hours of playtime, the switch is also perfect for playing with friends and families with the amount of games and the capability to just remove the controllers off the switch and turn them into 2 different controllers! WOW

An improvement in every way.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely night and day between this and original Switch. Sound is better, kickstand is actually functional and VERY similar to that found on a microsoft Surface and the Screen is a massive improvement. Previously I would play 99% of the time docked but with the Switch OLED its been 99% portable since launch. I'm sure it will lower as time goes on and the newness wears off but it is still a fantastic improvement. Pictures and Videos on the internet do not do it justice.

Great Upgrade for Handheld Users
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great looking screen with the OLED. Colors pop and games just look better than the previous generation Switch when played in handheld. I do not use the kick stand very much, but it is much improved for those who use it. This is a great upgrade for anyone with the first generation Switch with its improved battery life. If you already have a Switch and you mainly only play it docked, then you won’t really experience any differences.
