It was hooked to my internet, but has shown a error code since day one. We tried hooking it to others over the goliday and it would not dind any internet and then it also would not connect to mine when we got home. Its under warranty, but it take 3 to 4 weeks to get it back and if they cant difure it out they send a refurbished one. This isnt good practice when we pay full price. Best buy has been great though!

Excellent

I really like the versatility, being able to convert from handheld to tabletop to stationary console. I went with Switch because it seems to be the most retro game-friendly console out there. There is a very healthy respect for classic video games and their characters, and I appreciate that. Lots of relatively simple games that appeal to us middle-aged old-school gamers. Back in the day, I hated Nintendo because they muscled in to Atari's territory and took it over. Never thought back then that I'd be proud to say that I own one today BECAUSE they have no problems acknowledging that Atari paved the way for them in video games. Life is funny sometimes...

Drifts

I'm really disappointed and thought the OLED ones would be better quality. I've run thr calibration and updated rhe joycons. Tempted to return it since handheld mode is already frustrating and that's why i bought it. We have the original switch and i have sent all the joycons in twice now to nintendo. They still drift. I can't tell much of a difference between the two screens in hand held mode. Plugging in the internet into the dock with the device didn't noticeably change download times or online play (maybe there's a setting I'm missing?)
