The screen is much better quality than i expected, bright and the touch screen is very reaponsive and quick. Battery life lasts hours during game play, much better than othrr hand held devices. Connects well to your tv, after long game play can sometimes glitch for about a second but infrequent and very brief. Surprisingly durable and easy to setup. Lots of games!

I bought this as a gift and it was wonderfully received. While video games systems come quickly to younger folks thats not the case with us old people. The controls are easy to learn, the graphics are great and the system was pretty easy to set up. The family really enjoys playing the Switch.

After discovering how much fun it is to have local multiplayer with friends after years of using PlayStation, I went out and promptly got my own switch. I won't pretend it's as powerful as other current generation consoles, but the games are designed to be less intensive to run and the fun factor makes up for any hardware deficiencies. I am personally not of the opinion that OLED displays make enough of a visual difference to be worth the extra price, especially with such a small screen. However, I do still recommend this model just because the screen size is larger. You will also want to get an sd card for additional storage space if you play many games.

BEST GIFT EVERRRRRRR! I purchased this as a last minute gift for my children, I had been on the fence about it since we already own a PS5, but this is so much better for their age ranges/interests. They are truly enjoying the platform and graphics and eased right into it. The wide range of multiplayer games available and portability of the unit is well worth the investment. Highly recommend!

Well i did it.. i upgraded my switch to the oled model.. im glad i did.. it was hard to upgrade something going in thinking it was gonna be the same.. but you would be suprised how much of a difference that slight screen size increase does.. not to mention the oled.. vivid and contrast are legit.. would i recomend upgrading if you already have a switch? Well if your like me and you play in handheld mode definitely.. if you play docked? Not a chance lol

Had to get this console as other one was sold out. While very expensive for an older console, the Oled version looks great and plays great.

The Nintendo Switch is basically a console that said: “Why not both?” Play it on the TV like a normal person… or yank it out and instantly transform into that weirdo playing Mario Kart in the dentist’s waiting room. Battery life? Eh, sometimes it feels like it drains faster than my willpower on leg day. But somehow, I still end up sitting on the toilet for 3 hours fishing in Animal Crossing. Worth it. The Joy-Cons? Oh yeah, they’re fun—until they start drifting like Vin Diesel in Fast & Furious. Nothing says “immersive gameplay” like your character moonwalking across the screen while you’re hands-off. Despite its quirks, the Switch has every kind of game you could ever want: Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, even a game about being a goose that bullies people. Truly, a masterpiece. 10/10—best $300 I’ve ever spent to lose all my friends in Mario Kart.

Definitely feels like the hardware is worth the price point with the only fault so far is how your limited to only micro SD express cards and that you can’t install games from the cartridges to take advantage of the express card read speeds but that’s more on the software end by Nintendo than the actual hardware.

I had the original switch and i upgraded to the OLED with little apprehension. I mean if you look at the comparison its the switch with more memory and a slightly bigger/better screen. However i still fell in love with this console bc i spend most of my gameplay in handheld mode and it has made a world of difference. If you find yourself playing mostly in handheld mode it is very much worth the upgrade!

I bought this as an upgrade to the launch Nintendo Switch I've had for years. The OLED is a nice improvement, but most importantly the battery life has been extended. Beyond that; however, I haven't noticed many other changes. I don't know if I'd necessarily recommended buying this Switch as a replacement, but if it's your first Switch than I'd certainly opt for the OLED model.

What a step up from the first model. Not only is this switch screen bigger the OLeD is such a game changer with the color quality and clarity. This immerses me in the game even more and allows for more game play on my screen. What a step up from the OG and so worth the price if you can catch it before it sells out! Nintendo never lets me down and my friend loves her system! She’s a first time user and she plays Mario Kart with ease!

Very nice upgrade from a gen 1 switch. The screen is very high quality. I would compare it to an iPhone or iPad screen. Speakers are definitely louder. Improved kickstand is great, I was always accidentally popping out the kickstand on my old switch. The dock includes an Ethernet port now, which is great for downloading digital versions of games, and an additional USB port. Overall, it’s a nice slight upgrade that should hold you over until the next generation switch.

I dont need to say anything. You already know this switch is on point. You've looked at hundreds if not thousands of reviews. Just buy it now before Ninetendo stop sale. Its good for family playing together, playing online with stangers and playing by yourself. Parents, great way to distract your kiddos! Oh buy a storage card with this purchase.

Bought this for my son for Christmas, and it was definitely his favorite gift. The OLED screen is larger and clearer than the older Switch, and having the option to play handheld or on the tv with multiple players is a win for everyone. The controllers work great. Everything in the package was in new condition and worked properly. Very excited to download some classic Nintendo games!

I purchased the Nintendo switch mainly for the gorgeous but slightly low res OLED display. The Switch brings me back to my childhood while growing up playing Mario brothers with friends. I use my exclusively handheld and have a Skull and Co. grip attached at all times in their slim carrying case. I can game on the go while I have time while on break and after work. The ability to just fire it up quickly anywhere is the killer feature.

It may not seem like a huge upgrade from the original version, but the bigger, brighter screen really does make all the difference. While I wish Nintendo had gone the 4K route like all other consoles, my hours of playtime hasn't been affected. It may seem insignificant, but one of my favorite features is the new kickstand. No longer is it the tiny, spring loaded, thin piece, but it's now half the backside of the screen and seems very secure and sturdy.
