A happy new year to you all! So, as the title suggests, I wanted to give my personal review of the OLED model. I caved a little bit after the holidays and upgraded, trading in my v2 switch! Personally, I love it.

Worth an Upgrade

It feels more substantial, and the extra screen real estate is a nice addition. It isnt earth shattering but it is really nice. The only downside is that if you are upgrading, a lot of cases won’t work with this version because of the different size. I’m sure companies will support it soon though.

Switch for an 8 year old…

We utilize this device as an incentive or reward when my daughter isn’t playing softball or working on her mma. She further enjoys playing Fortnite with her older brother on his switch.

Also a big fan of the white controllers and docking station! Be sure to get a memory card though, it has very little storage space built in.

Cool looking Switch with better view and sound

The OLED display is definitely good to play when not on TV. And the white looks really good on the TV console / stand. And this has better sound quality with more storage. So I could transfer all the games and more. If you don't own a Nintendo Switch at all yet, buy a Switch OLED.
