The Nintendo Switch OLED is a great upgrade for handheld and tabletop players. Its 7-inch OLED screen offers vibrant colors and deep contrast, while the improved kickstand, better audio, and extra storage make gaming more enjoyable. However, performance is the same as the standard Switch, so there’s no boost in graphics or speed. If you mostly play on the go, it’s absolutely worth it. If you mainly play docked on a TV, the upgrades are nice but not essential.

I upgraded from the v1 switch to this because I wanted the bigger screen, speakers, kickstand, and Ethernet port. I am happy to say that it satisfies all those needs and even more. If it is possible to get one you won’t be disappointed.

Nintendo's best console to date. The graphics are pretty nice and the ita battery life is pretty long. Nothing bad to say about it

System is beautiful!! Compared to the regular switch. This bad boy is sexy looking lol. The OLED screen makes a huge difference, games look even better. Excited to see what the new Pokémon game will look on this!

Not a huge difference from old Switch model but the bigger size, longer battery life, louder speakers, and better screen are all noticeable. Worth it if you play your Switch a lot in handheld or tabletop mode.

This is the first console I’ve played since the NES (back in 1986) that has truly changed the game. My kids get to use this but I am the one that marvels at its game changing ability to be both a game boy and a console. My kids can take this on long car rides, the family can play Mario Kart together on the big screen. I LOVE that Nintendo’s focus seems to be on family friendly games that are still fun to play. I like what the other companies are offering, but I am not a fan of the rated R content they seem to focus on. This consol…errr, hand held… this SWITCH is incredible and truly innovative.

If you wondering to get this if you already have the regular switch the answer is yes It’s just all around better. Build quality better, graphics look better on the OLED screen and so much more.

I bought this Switch for my wife to enjoy the new Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game on. I've never been much of a Nintendo person, but my wife grew up playing the older consoles. This has been such a great device to play with and the games have been really fun so far! Paying for the online service gives you access to a lot of the older games too. We mainly keep this plugged in to the TV but I like having the OLED screen as well for when we travel. My only complaint is that the joycons aren't that ergonomic. The included controller adapter isn't terrible but it sure isn't great when you compare it to an xbox controller.

I glad i waited for the OLED switch best decision i made. Its fun for on go or at home on you're tv. The oled screen just makes it way better a more fun experience. I highly recommend for everyone else thinking about buying. Its worth it.

The switch oled is far better than the original one with bigger screen, more storage good kickstand, overall extra 50$ is worth it

This console is AMAZING. Upgraded from the first edition switch and the audio, color, larger screen and updated kickstand are awesome. While I look forward to the Switch 2, I am happy to have this console and will definitely enjoy it for many years to come.

I was using the original Nintendo Switch V1 and battery life is much improved. I’m primarily a handheld user and the Oled screen quality is night and day. One of those things where it’s not a must have but once accustomed it’s hard to go back.

Screen quality is bright and vivid. Great gaming device for on the go with a good battery life.

Love this item! Huge Nintendo fan and the larger screen is awesome. Not a fan of the joy cons- wish they didn't come off. Would love to see them combine this with the lite

The better quality screen is a much needed touch (like when they added the backlight to the gameboy). If you already uave a switch, the upgrade isn't necessary, but it does make a huge difference in quality. If you are debating getting a switch, this is worth the extra dollars versus going second hand or buying the fully p switch that came in funky colors. Detachable joycons are a must and the variety of colors are a great way to accentuate each player's perosnality.

OLED screen looks miles better than the original LCD display, plus it is bigger without increasing the physical size of the console. The contrast, brightness, color and viewing angles are in a different level compared to the original.

I just bought this switch to play mario kart with my friends who want to do a small league with. At first i was hesitant with the purchase, i wasnt sure of the base switch or the oled model. I did my research and found the oled technology is pretty cool in regards to contrast and brightnes. It also has a 7 inch screen caompared to the 6.2 inch on the base model. Even though both screen offer the same resolution displays, i think inches of the screen makes it look better and look more indepth when it comes to game on the oled. Oled offers 4k output gameplay which is AWESOME. But in the end you have to hold the console in your hand and get the feel for it. Bestbuy has their consoles on display so check them out.

The graphics are clear! Easy to go from TV to hand held with no effort. And all the games and my account from the Nintendo switch light download with ease.
