I had my original switch since it’s initial release, and saw no real reason to upgrade. That was before I went into Best Buy and saw just how nice the oled screen was. The smaller bezels and brighter screen really help games that looked meh on the original display look sooo much better! The audio and battery also seen some minor improvements. If you’re happy with the original still no reason to upgrade, but for those who play exclusively in handheld it’s worth checking out.

Upgrading from a Nintendo Switch Lite as a birthday gift to our 8YO. He loves it! Taking it while traveling and enjoying the larger and brighter screen, and also being able to play multiplayer games on the go or on the big screen tv. Down side is the storage capacity hasn’t been upgraded and with mostly cartridge games collection and only 1 downloaded game (Rocket League) and the 32gb storage is already full. It would have been better to upgrade at least to 64gb internal storage, instead of having to rely on SD cards to increase capacity for downloads.

Like the title says, I've been practically glued to this thing since I got home with it. The display looks fantastic and doesn't feel too bulky with the Joy-Cons attached. For the extra $50 I would recommend upgrading to this model.

I was hesitant to buy this after the last Wii-U fail since I already purchased a PS5. I am so pleased that I decided to give Nintendo a chance as the Nintendo Switch is one of the most fun consoles I have ever owned. It is much more than a typical console, it is a family gathering event. Seeing the joy in my daughters faces as we compete in Mario Kart and Super Smash Brothers makes the Nintendo Switch more than worth every penny. If you are on the fence about this, my advice is to purchase the console and perhaps an additional controller. The added feature of disconnecting it from the TV and taking it with you whether you are going to the park, beach or even travelling is one of its best features.

Decided to upgrade to the OLED Model from the original and I'm thrilled I did. It runs well and the screen is incredible. If you play mostly in handheld, it's definitely the Switch option to choose. The colors are vibrant and the games look great.

i love this new switch it does everything my og switch doesn't. The screen is incredible and nice to be bigger also looks super sexy being white on white. i also love the kickstand it works so much better than the last one. i am still gonna keep my old switch but this thing is incredible

Great console for everyone! The games are friendly and the optional portability makes this console unique from the competitors. It’s a small upgrade from the previous generation Nintendo Switch, but the OLED display does Mae a difference if you game a lot in portable mode.

From Super Nintendo to PS5 the Nintendo switch is the best console I’ve ever owned. So user friendly, portable, and with the extreme number of ports from other consoles there’s no end to the games you can play. Including the two best games ever made BOTW and TOTK which you can only play on switch, both games are beautiful btw. Where the switch struggles is the resolution and performance during some more intensive gaming but with 99% of games you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the ease of gaming whether on a Tv or handheld.

This is our second switch. (We got our first when they first came out) the OLED is of course brighter. My husband plays it mostly and loves it. I think the ability to connect to a TV or go hand held is phenomenal. The controllers (in general not specific to this one since it's new) are both expensive and fragile so that has been our only issue

I bought OLED for my brother as a Christmas gift. He has the OG one and was in need of an upgrade. The screen is much more brighter and colorful compared to the first switch and a better battery life! I recommend this product if your upgrading from the first switch that came out.

This is my fourth switch the first two broke in the third is my son so I got this one for myself and it's definitely a nice handheld. Better screen better speakers and a nice kickstand which I haven't used yet but I plan on mainly using it as a handheld with the side controllers.

The new switch OLED is definitely a big improvement the screen is phenomenal And is worth the upgrade alone the extra storage is a nice plus and the whole unit feels very high quality and sturdy For anyone on the fence the switch OLED is definitely worth the upgrade Highly recommended

Amazing game console that is best to play with family and friends. The OLED screen is such an improvement from the original regular Nintendo and levels up your gaming experience. Definitely worth the buy especially from Best Buy where the employees made it very easy to buy with a smooth transaction.

Best you can get all ways will be fun light weight battery last a long time screen is amazing it’s a must have you won’t regret it

I didn't think it would be as much of a difference as it was, but wow, that extra saturation and quality is incredible over the regular switch. Plus, the stand is way better. It's definitely worth the upgrade after a trade-in.

This was a birthday gift for my grandson. He says that he truly enjoys playing on it because the games are fun and the devise sits comfortably in his hands. The larger screen is a BIG plus. It is a great way for him to play with friends. It is a hit!!!!!

Portability, battery life, visuals! This gaming console exceeds all the expectations! This was a spontaneous buy, and i dont regret it!

I grew up with a game boy so having a handheld device with a huge screen like this to play amazing Nintendo games is everything to me! I think it is worth the upgrade from the original switch, the amazing oled screen in this makes all the difference.

Comes with everything i need in organized fragile packaging. Great quality pixels battery life can go up to two days and fun to play with the family not just yourself. Im overall very pleased with my purchase

The OLED Switch has a beautiful and larger screen, a hugely improved kickstand, and better speakers. However when docked, this is the same Switch you've had for years. If you play solely in handheld mode this a nice upgrade, but connected to your TV there are no improvements.
