    Finally Time to Upgrade

Given the tumultuous times with hardware prices, I decided to take the plunge and finally get a Switch 2. Hardware wise, you can just feel how better the joy-cons are in your hands and how it snaps back to the console. It has good weight on it too despite the fact that it's larger than the Switch OLED I had. The system runs everything so much faster and in much better resolution and frame rate. It is clearly a step above the original Switch. Now the game library is lacking a bit but this system is getting far better 3rd party support than it's predecessor. Once the 1st party titles catch up, this system will be even in more demand. My recommendation on this would be if you are an avid Switch player or gamer in general and you want to take advantage of the better hardware and processing and want to avoid the upcoming price hike on this, pick up a Switch 2. With the improved 3rd party support, this may be the most practical handheld on the market in relative to cost affordability.

As a casual gamer, someone who plays games to relax after work or on weekends, I’ve been really happy with it. It feels like a nice upgrade without changing what made the original Switch so fun. The games load much faster than on the original Switch, which makes it easier to jump in and play. The screen looks much sharper, and games feel smoother, especially in handheld mode. The battery life is decent, but if you’re playing more demanding games, you’ll probably need to charge it sooner than you’d like. This console perfect for playing at home on the couch, in bed before going to sleep, or on the TV with friends and family. It’s also great for traveling, whether you’re on a plane, in the car as a passenger, or waiting at appointments. Since it’s portable, it’s easy to pick up for a quick 20-minute gaming session whenever you have free time. I even bring my switch to work to use during my one hour lunch break.

In a time where handhelds have become so popular Nintendo did a great job on the Switch 2. In my opinion Nintendo has always had some of the most fun games to play period. Sure it doesn’t do it at the highest resolution or frame rates like some of the others but that’s ok. The reason I play games is because of there fun factor and storytelling. Anyway Switch 2 upgrades everything the Switch 1 had. From the joycons to screen size and performance. Replaying Zelda Breath of the Wild on it has been incredible! Mario Kart World has never looked better and Pokemon Pokopia is a blast. I highly recommend picking up a Switch 2 for its simplicity of just pickin up and go.

Besides my PC, the Nintendo Switch is the only gaming console I own—and I honestly don't feel like I need an Xbox or PlayStation. My PC handles all the hardcore and competitive games I want to play, while the Switch is perfect for everything else. Being able to play anywhere is what makes it so great. Whether I'm traveling, waiting for an appointment, or just relaxing away from my desk, I can jump into games like MLB The Show, Pokémon, or Mario in seconds. The screen looks fantastic, it's fast, and it's been an awesome system to own. For me, it's the perfect companion to a gaming PC.

I didn't make the switch (no pun intended) when this came out due to some weird growing pains like with any new released game or console... but since there have been a few titles on the horizon that i shown interest I decided to pull the pin and get myself one. First off... best upgrade I've seen so far. Much larger screen, controllers attach much easier to the console, the kickstand doesn't feel frail... it's just a better Switch compared to the predecessor. I know everyone was worried that if you mod it or use illegal games Nintendo could brick it, but as long as your using it the way it was intended everything is fine honestly! If you haven't upgraded yet, don't wait like I did.

The Long Awaited Nintendo Switch 2!

After spending some time with the Nintendo Switch 2, I can honestly say it’s a significant upgrade over the original in almost every way. The first thing I noticed was the haptics—they feel much more refined and immersive. The larger screen and improved resolution make games look fantastic, and the extra power opens the door to bigger, more demanding titles that weren’t practical on the original Switch. Being able to play games like Fallout 4 is a huge plus, and the potential for future releases makes the system even more exciting. The hardware design is another standout. It feels premium in your hands, with a comfortable, satisfying grip. The redesigned Joy-Con attachment system is a major improvement as well. Attaching and detaching the controllers is quicker, smoother, and feels much more secure than before. The immersive sound system is also impressive. But I would want it to be louder, the max volume is not as high as I would like. My biggest complaint—and really my only major one—is the battery life. It’s disappointing for a handheld system this powerful. If you’re planning to play on the go, I’d strongly recommend investing in a high-capacity power bank or making sure you have access to a charger, because it’s easy to end up with a dead Switch 2 during longer gaming sessions. Overall, the Nintendo Switch 2 is an excellent console that improves on the original in nearly every category. If you can live with the battery life—or plan around it—it’s an easy recommendation - if you can accept the poor battery performance - and one of Nintendo’s best hardware upgrades yet.

I sold my Switch OLED to buy this console, and it is a massive improvement! I chose Mario Kart for my bundle and also picked up Zelda: Breath of the Wild to go with it. The performance boost is incredibly noticeable across all of these titles, and everything runs incredibly smooth. I’m absolutely loving the bigger screen it makes handheld play much more immersive. Even when docked and playing with my Pro controller, the whole system feels like a huge step up. I highly recommend making the upgrade!

    Nintendo Switch 2

Product came in perfect condition; can't say the same for the box, as there were a few spots of damage, nothing too crazy. When opening the box, everything was sealed with no tampering. Setup was easy, and the music during setup was a nice touch, feels like a premium product with the larger size of the Joy-Cons and tablet. In my hand, the Switch 2 felt like a Nintendo product made for teenagers rather than kids. I ran a few games, and the Switch 2 upgrades on Pokémon Scarlet felt great at 60 fps. The only problem I ran into was the headphone jack, as after a few uses the Switch started thinking that the headphones were always connected, leading to the speakers being essentially disabled. I had to get some 91% isopropyl alcohol and rubbed it on my headphone jack and plugged it in a few times, leading to the issue being fixed. Honestly, I wish that Nintendo allowed you to change from the headphone jack to speakers whenever you wanted. Overall, I think that my headphone jack was most likely a little dirty from the factory, as I did see some dust inside the port and don't think it's my headphones, as every other item I have that uses the headphones had no issue. Overall, I do think this is the BEST way to get into gaming right now for kids who love Nintendo IP or don't have a budget above $700 for a gaming setup. In the $700 range, you can get the console, a 1080p 120hrz monitor, and a Nintendo Pro Controller or an 8bitdo controller.

Coming from a Switch OLED, I was trying to hold out for a future version of the console. Seeing how well games perform on my friends Switch 2, my opinion flipped immediately. The resolution and refresh rate alone in handheld mode make games look so much more crisp. When docked, its a mich more noticeable difference as well. Any original Switch game you have runs in a "boosted" performance. But if you want the full Switch 2 experience, its only $10 to upgrade to the newer version. You may ask "why would I want to spend more for the game I already bought?". Its a matter of opinion really, but its better to spend the $10 to upgrade the game version rather than a full $60/$70 for the new game conpletely. The original Switch game gets boosted to a higher refresh rate and resolution. But the Switch 2 version offers better load times, HDR, and overall performance. Honestly i have not regretted this purchase and have had to force myself to put the system down socim not spending too much time playing. Great product and would highly recommend for any Nintendo fan. Recently bought the "Killswitch" case from DBrand. This is available in store as well. Absolutely do not need the case for the system but it is definitely another, not regretted, purchase.

I love the Nintendo Switch 2 for portable gaming. And i also love saving money with this bundle, i chose mario kart for the bundle since it is a 80 dollars game so i saved 30 dollars. Don't expect the performance and graphics to be like a high end PC or a PS5 but allows to play big AAA games on the go to decent to good graphics and performance. And of course to enjoy the excellent Nintendo exclusives games. The only downside for me is battery life so be ready to buy a power bank or a long cable charger.

I have been able to play lots of games from the switch 1 era along with new games. My favorite game so far is no mans sky which runs great on the switch two and shows how the new hardware can run modern demanding games. I love the ability to pick the console up and play it in any room in the house.

I was skeptical on purchasing the switch 2 however after playing it for awhile now, I can say it is worth it. The portability of the switch with the AAA game titles and main titles like Mario cart world makes it great to have for on the go or docked at home. I highly recommend it and hopefully see more port entries soon!

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about upgrading, but the Switch 2 has completely blown me away. The performance leap is night and day compared to the original—everything runs so smoothly and loading times are practically gone. The screen looks incredible in handheld mode, and the battery life has held up great so far. Getting to pick a game with the bundle made the price tag feel completely justified. No regrets at all, definitely recommend it!

I am really impressed with the Switch 2. The performance jump is noticeable games look sharper and run much smoother than before. It feels more premium in the hands, and the new magnetic controllers are a great upgrade over the old sliding ones. If you love the portability of the original but want more power and better build quality, this is definitely worth the purchase. Highly recommended!

This was a Father’s Day gift for my dad. He has always played primarily Xbox and PlayStation but wanted something more portable that he could also enjoy from home. I haven’t heard much from my dad since Father’s Day and according to sky mom he has just been playing the Switch 2 since. He loves the screen clarity and the portability the most.

I've enjoyed playing it, and the free game (chose Pokopia) has been wonderful. Great graphics, better gameplay, meets the expectation we have when purchasing Nintendo consoles. Great for on the go gaming, playing with kids or solo. Love that the new power and design opens up to other market gaming.

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. She really likes that it is portable and she can still play the games she had for her first Nintendo switch. The screen size is bigger which makes is easier to see better. The price was just right considering the other gaming counsels you need to be at home to play with.
