Absolutely perfect BUT for some people
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the switch 2! For me it’s perfect since I’ve never had a switch. I will say if you have the original switch I would not upgrade right now. There isn’t enough switch 2 games.

Nintendo
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 feels like a solid upgrade over the original, especially in terms of performance and overall experience. Games run smoother, load faster, and look noticeably better, which makes both new titles and enhanced versions of older games more enjoyable. The display is a big improvement, with more vibrant colors and better brightness, making handheld play much more immersive. It still keeps the hybrid concept, so switching between docked and portable mode feels just as seamless as before. Battery life is decent, though it can vary depending on the game. The build quality feels more refined, and the controllers are more comfortable, but they still follow the same general design. On the downside, it’s not a massive leap in innovation—it feels more like a polished evolution than a completely new system. Also, storage can fill up quickly with modern game sizes. Overall, the Switch 2 is a great upgrade if you already enjoy Nintendo’s ecosystem, offering better performance and visuals while keeping the same flexibility that made the original so popular.

A fantastic successor to the original Switch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 improves on almost everything I loved about the original without losing what made it special. The larger, sharper display makes games look incredible, and the improved performance means faster load times, smoother frame rates, and a much better experience overall. One of the biggest advantages is that it still lets you seamlessly switch between handheld, tabletop, and TV mode. Whether I'm playing at home or on the go, it feels like the perfect hybrid console. Backward compatibility has also been a huge plus since I can continue enjoying many of my existing Switch games while taking advantage of performance improvements where available. The updated Joy-Con controllers feel more refined, and the overall build quality is noticeably better. Battery life has been solid for my gaming sessions, and the system stays quiet even during more demanding games. No console is perfect. Storage can fill up quickly if you buy a lot of digital games, so a microSD Express card is almost a must-have. Also, while the game library is still growing, it's already off to a strong start. Overall, the Switch 2 feels like the upgrade Nintendo fans have been waiting for. If you enjoyed the original Switch, this is an easy recommendation and a worthy next-generation console.

Choose Your Bundle- Switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo switch 2 will be the main console for the new Pokemon game that is released next year. That somewhat disappointing news sparked my ambition to save up and buy one for my fiancé. I was not disappointed when he opened it and I saw how nice the product is. They have really thought through many of the issues that the original Nintendo switch had. The games are going to be more expensive because the graphics that we want take up more space, so we have to get over that. It’s just how things are going. If you want better quality then it will be more expensive. Anyway, I have received zero complaints, and I also have no problems with/about the console. The screen is large, the graphics are lovely, the battery on this particular console seems fine, and the paddles seem sturdy, especially compared to their predecessor. It was also nice to pick a “free” game download for a fraction of the cost.

Finally Time to Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Given the tumultuous times with hardware prices, I decided to take the plunge and finally get a Switch 2. Hardware wise, you can just feel how better the joy-cons are in your hands and how it snaps back to the console. It has good weight on it too despite the fact that it's larger than the Switch OLED I had. The system runs everything so much faster and in much better resolution and frame rate. It is clearly a step above the original Switch. Now the game library is lacking a bit but this system is getting far better 3rd party support than it's predecessor. Once the 1st party titles catch up, this system will be even in more demand. My recommendation on this would be if you are an avid Switch player or gamer in general and you want to take advantage of the better hardware and processing and want to avoid the upcoming price hike on this, pick up a Switch 2. With the improved 3rd party support, this may be the most practical handheld on the market in relative to cost affordability.

Hands down my favorite handheld console.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a casual gamer, someone who plays games to relax after work or on weekends, I’ve been really happy with it. It feels like a nice upgrade without changing what made the original Switch so fun. The games load much faster than on the original Switch, which makes it easier to jump in and play. The screen looks much sharper, and games feel smoother, especially in handheld mode. The battery life is decent, but if you’re playing more demanding games, you’ll probably need to charge it sooner than you’d like. This console perfect for playing at home on the couch, in bed before going to sleep, or on the TV with friends and family. It’s also great for traveling, whether you’re on a plane, in the car as a passenger, or waiting at appointments. Since it’s portable, it’s easy to pick up for a quick 20-minute gaming session whenever you have free time. I even bring my switch to work to use during my one hour lunch break.

The Switch we needed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In a time where handhelds have become so popular Nintendo did a great job on the Switch 2. In my opinion Nintendo has always had some of the most fun games to play period. Sure it doesn’t do it at the highest resolution or frame rates like some of the others but that’s ok. The reason I play games is because of there fun factor and storytelling. Anyway Switch 2 upgrades everything the Switch 1 had. From the joycons to screen size and performance. Replaying Zelda Breath of the Wild on it has been incredible! Mario Kart World has never looked better and Pokemon Pokopia is a blast. I highly recommend picking up a Switch 2 for its simplicity of just pickin up and go.

Switch 2 For the Win
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Besides my PC, the Nintendo Switch is the only gaming console I own—and I honestly don't feel like I need an Xbox or PlayStation. My PC handles all the hardcore and competitive games I want to play, while the Switch is perfect for everything else. Being able to play anywhere is what makes it so great. Whether I'm traveling, waiting for an appointment, or just relaxing away from my desk, I can jump into games like MLB The Show, Pokémon, or Mario in seconds. The screen looks fantastic, it's fast, and it's been an awesome system to own. For me, it's the perfect companion to a gaming PC.

Was hesitant... but worth the wait.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't make the switch (no pun intended) when this came out due to some weird growing pains like with any new released game or console... but since there have been a few titles on the horizon that i shown interest I decided to pull the pin and get myself one. First off... best upgrade I've seen so far. Much larger screen, controllers attach much easier to the console, the kickstand doesn't feel frail... it's just a better Switch compared to the predecessor. I know everyone was worried that if you mod it or use illegal games Nintendo could brick it, but as long as your using it the way it was intended everything is fine honestly! If you haven't upgraded yet, don't wait like I did.

The Long Awaited Nintendo Switch 2!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After spending some time with the Nintendo Switch 2, I can honestly say it’s a significant upgrade over the original in almost every way. The first thing I noticed was the haptics—they feel much more refined and immersive. The larger screen and improved resolution make games look fantastic, and the extra power opens the door to bigger, more demanding titles that weren’t practical on the original Switch. Being able to play games like Fallout 4 is a huge plus, and the potential for future releases makes the system even more exciting. The hardware design is another standout. It feels premium in your hands, with a comfortable, satisfying grip. The redesigned Joy-Con attachment system is a major improvement as well. Attaching and detaching the controllers is quicker, smoother, and feels much more secure than before. The immersive sound system is also impressive. But I would want it to be louder, the max volume is not as high as I would like. My biggest complaint—and really my only major one—is the battery life. It’s disappointing for a handheld system this powerful. If you’re planning to play on the go, I’d strongly recommend investing in a high-capacity power bank or making sure you have access to a charger, because it’s easy to end up with a dead Switch 2 during longer gaming sessions. Overall, the Nintendo Switch 2 is an excellent console that improves on the original in nearly every category. If you can live with the battery life—or plan around it—it’s an easy recommendation - if you can accept the poor battery performance - and one of Nintendo’s best hardware upgrades yet.

Bigger screen & massive performance
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I sold my Switch OLED to buy this console, and it is a massive improvement! I chose Mario Kart for my bundle and also picked up Zelda: Breath of the Wild to go with it. The performance boost is incredibly noticeable across all of these titles, and everything runs incredibly smooth. I’m absolutely loving the bigger screen it makes handheld play much more immersive. Even when docked and playing with my Pro controller, the whole system feels like a huge step up. I highly recommend making the upgrade!
