The switch works great in single player and co-op but if you play local 4 player games like mario kart world be prepared for alot of lag. The switch one is better than the switch 2 for 4 player games. The material used to make the docking station is weak as well. Dont put much pressure against it or you’ll break it. Not as fragile as eggs but it is compared to other gaming consoles.

I ordered a Nintendo Switch 2 to be delivered. The first delivery attempt failed to deliver. I called asking for it to be changed to store pickup and was giving a day to pickup up a replacement in store. The next day, a very light package that clearly did not contain a gaming system was delivered without my signature. It contained a dirty rag and a small car part. I called immediately to customer service and said I can just get the store pickup the next day. The next day, the store pickup was cancelled by the "backdoor financial customer service" team (as the customer service people called them) hours before I was going to pick it up. When I called customer service, they said I requested this cancellation, which I did not. I was told they can put in a request for a refund but the "back team" has to process the request in 48-72 hours. Two days later, I got a email from customer service saying I would get a refund but must send in the item. I sent the item to Best Buy warehouse. Customer service sent an email saying they would process they would check the item within 7-10 business days and process a refund 7-10 business days after that which I would receive in my bank 7-10 business days after that. 10 days later, I received the item back with no notification. I emailed back to customer service saying I never got a refund and explained i never got an item to begin with (getting no response). I called customer service, and the representative said he could put in a request for a refund and the "financial team" will process this in 48-72 hours. I said we already tried this and asked for a manager. I was directed to Geek squad, and the "manager" said it was my first request for a refund, which is untrue. She said the refund will be responded to by the "financial team" in 48-72 hours. It has been 3 full business days, and customer service has yet to respond to the request. It's now been exactly a month since I placed my order, and I have neither been given a Switch 2 or a refund. The system for customer service is poorly designed, and the customer service team constantly misread, doesn't comply with, or straight up ignores request

Well made game console, but it's not the best when it comes to value for money. As a hand held console it's still a good product.

The Nintendo Switch 2 might be a technical leap forward, but it’s shackled by one of the most anti-consumer EULAs in modern gaming. If you believe in the simple idea that you should own what you pay for, this isn’t just disappointing—it’s offensive. Nintendo wants all the benefits of you buying the hardware, while retaining all the control as if you hadn’t. For a company that built its legacy on giving players joy, it’s deeply ironic that this console feels more like a lease than a celebration of gaming freedom. Rating: 4/10 – Buy at your own legal risk.

The console barely has any games for it, the battery life is awful, joycon drift is still a thing, and is marginally stronger than the original switch. Its a fine device but the fact that nintendo has the ability to completely render it useless if you do anything they dont like, is very scummy and childish of a billion dollar game company.

It was way over priced. It was cheaper to buy the console and game separately. I ended up returning and doing exactly that.

Maybe they've improved some things, but image quality isn't one of them. It's not worth upgrading from the OLED Switch to the Switch 2, unless you want the exclusive games.

For it being 2025, i definitely did expect more! The handheld graphics aren't the greatest. For the price point and time period were in i expected a lot more. Feel like this is a 2020 release and not a 2025 product.

I’ve been thinking of purchasing a Nintendo Switch 2 (mostly for our grandkids) since they came out. This past week I noticed that they were available for same day pickup at the Best Buy at which I normally shop. It was my intention to add it to my home theater system which was just purchased from and installed by Best Buy in July and has an old Nintendo Wii connected. While configuring the Switch 2, I was unable to get any picture on the TV. Since I felt the problem was more than likely an issue with the home theater system, I called the Best Buy Geek Squad to arrange for a service call to troubleshoot the problem. I was fully expecting and willing to pay for that service call. I was told that they would not make a service call that I had to make a reservation to take the Switch into the store for trouble shooting. I told them that in order to troubleshoot the issue I would need to bring in my entire home theater system and TV. After that very frustrating conversation I decided to do my own troubleshooting. Nintendo’s support site suggested changing HDMI cables and a different TV. I tried using two different ports in the home theater, three different HDMI cables, and connecting directly to two different TVs. Since none of these configurations produced any TV video, I am now convinced that the issue is with the Switch itself. I have returned the unit to the store. Due to Best Buy’s unwillingness to troubleshoot the issue I will not be purchasing another unit from Best Buy. Post Review Update: When I returned the Switch I spoke to a manager and I was told that if I visited the Geek Squad desk at the store they could have scheduled a home service call to troubleshoot my problem.

The game did not come with the Mario kart download and I did not hear back from customer service after calling and emailing. Think better to buy directly from Nintendo
